Entangled Vows: Destined Diaries Book 2 Kindle Edition
When business turns personal and duty meets desire…
Vikram Khurana,a strikingly handsome billionaire and co-owner of an award-winning startup, has always approached life like a boardroom meeting. Calm, calculated, and controlled. He never wanted to inherit the powerful Khurana Empire. But when tragedy strikes, the crown he avoided is thrust upon him, along with a clause binding him to the one woman he never truly forgot: Mahika Jaykar. She’s no longer just a memory or the girl next door who once trailed after his brother. She’s a force he never saw coming and the only woman capable of shaking the walls he’s built around his heart.
Mahika Jaykaris confident, beautiful, and fiercely independent. By day, she’s a marketing director at her late father’s firm. By night, she escapes into the world of romance novels she secretly writes. Her dream is simple: settle in her dream location and write full-time. But a year after her father’s death, a hidden clause in his will triggered by a recent incident, turns her world upside down. Her future now hinges on one impossible condition: marrying the man she’s sworn to hate & avoid, Vikram Khurana. Vikram isn’t just her childhood friend’s arrogant older brother. He’s the boy who once dismissed her, and the man who still makes her pulse race.
When fate throws them together, the line between hate and desire blurs, and every look feels like a challenge.Bound by duty and tangled in vows, they crash together like a fire meeting a hurricane. The attraction between them is wild, volatile & impossible to ignore and what begins as a reluctant marriage simmers into undeniable heat, until desire threatens to crash through every line they swore they wouldn’t cross. But just as they start to give in, a sinister force lurks in the shadows. Old rivalries run deeper than they imagined. And the clause meant to protect the business and Mahika becomes the very reason to put her in danger.
Entangled by vows neither expected to honour, they must now decide if they’re willing to fight for something real. Can Mahika still chase her dreams? Will Vikram walk away again from the family business? What begins as business might just become the one thing neither of them saw coming...Forever.

- Reviewed in India on 22 October 2025Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseI don’t even know where to begin because Entangled Vows had me smiling, swooning, and occasionally wanting to shake both Mahika and Vikram for being such stubborn idiots in love. 😅
Vikram Khurana is your classic brooding billionaire: calm, composed, and frustratingly controlled. Mahika Jaykar is fire wrapped in sass, a woman who knows exactly what she wants… until fate (and a very dramatic will clause!) forces her to marry the man she swore to avoid. What follows is pure chaos, full of banter, ego clashes, and an undeniable tension that practically jumps off the page.
Their dynamic reminded me why I love enemies-to-lovers and forced marriage romances so much. Every argument between them felt charged, every accidental touch electric. The little nicknames, "Grizzly and Momo", added the perfect touch of humour to balance all that heat and intensity. And when those walls finally start to crumble? Let’s just say Vikram’s quiet, protective love made me melt completely.
Era's writing is warm and cinematic! You can almost see the misty hills of Dehradun, feel the undercurrent of desire, and hear their quick, sarcastic exchanges echo through the Khurana mansion. The story also brings in a touch of suspense and family drama, which kept things exciting till the very end.
If you love stories where enemies are forced to share a roof, sparks fly, and the line between hate and love blurs spectacularly, Entangled Vows is your next must-read. It’s emotional, funny, passionate, and absolutely addictive.
- Reviewed in India on 17 November 2025Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseEntangled Vows is one of those stories that grabs your heart right from the first chapter and refuses to let go.
Era Mable takes the classic “marriage of convenience” trope and gives it a fresh, emotional twist with unforgettable characters, sharp dialogue, and chemistry that sizzles on every page.
The story follows Mahika Jaykar, a strong, outspoken, and fiercely independent woman, and Vikram Khurana, the brooding, emotionally guarded heir to a business empire.
When a clause in their fathers’ wills forces them into a one-year marriage, they expect nothing but chaos. What they don’t expect is to fall in love.
Their relationship starts with fiery banter and reluctant tension, but slowly turns into something deeper, raw, and incredibly heartfelt.
What I loved most was the banter and slow-burn romance — it’s witty, funny, and full of those soft, quiet moments that sneak up on you. The nicknames “Momo” and “Grizzly” made me smile every single time!
The supporting characters — Mahika’s brother Mohit, the Oberoi friends, and adorable little Kiara — add so much warmth and humor to the story.
Era Mable’s writing is crisp, emotional, and deeply immersive. She knows exactly how to make you feel — one minute you’re laughing, the next you’re tearing up. T
he book beautifully shows how love isn’t about perfection, but about accepting flaws, forgiving mistakes, and growing together.
Overall, Entangled Vows is a stunning blend of romance, friendship, family, and second chances. It’s heartwarming, witty, emotional, and completely addictive — the kind of book that makes you smile long after you’ve turned the last page. 💖

- Reviewed in India on 28 October 2025Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseThis book is the perfect blend of the enemies-to-lovers trope and the emotional aspect. Vikram, the disciplined billionaire who keeps hiding behind his fortress of pride, and Mahika, the temperamental liberated spirit who does not submit to anyone, are the two characters who in a way have to marry each other. Nothing goes as planned initially, but soon they are fighting for each other's hearts. I guess it is the most time that their words are not spoken but the glances, the touches, the innuendos each caught moment is filled with a desire to which none of them gives voice.
Their relation is just awesome. Their quick and witty conversation is great, their disputes are real, and their slow change from hating each other to trusting each other is so sweet that you can’t stop them. Along with the love story, the novel also deals with the themes of family expectations, self-discovery, and a little bit of danger that keeps the suspense till the very last point.
It is a quick, gripping tale of love, agony, and power struggles - and the gradual dismantling of Vikram and Mahika's facades against each other is what makes it every page. If you like marriage-of-convenience stories with fiery banter and genuine moments, then this book is definitely for you.
- Reviewed in India on 27 October 2025Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseThis book truly won my heart. I won’t lie — it started off a little slow for me, but once it picked up pace, I loved every single bit of it!
Mahika and Vikram are both dealing with the pain of losing their fathers. But things get even more complicated when they’re forced to marry each other to protect their fathers’ legacy. Neither had an easy childhood — both longed for freedom and love — and now they’re bound together, convinced that the other person hates them. It’s the final move in their fathers’ twisted game.
But what they don’t realize is that they were always meant to be. What looked like cruelty from their fathers was, in a strange way, their attempt at love.
This story is about two people finding unexpected love in the middle of chaos, learning to face whatever life throws at them, and protecting each other no matter the odds.
If that sounds like your kind of story, definitely pick this one up!
- Reviewed in India on 12 October 2025Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseEntangled Vows was such a fun and lovely read. I really liked the banter and the push and pull between Vikram and Mahika. Their funny revenge on each other made me smile so much. The way Mahika made Vikram’s life difficult and how he took it all calmly was the best part. Their chemistry, romance, and steam were just perfect and felt so natural. I also liked the small details in the story like the pet bunny, the side characters, and the cameos of all leads from the previous books. It all made the story feel rich and smooth. I had a great time reading it. The climax was so gripping and it honestly felt like watching a movie. Loved the book!
