This is the one. This is my official favorite bible now.
It's beautiful. The leather touch cover is simple, feels great in the hand, and was clearly well constructed. The gold edging on the pages really adds to it.
The print size is nice. I'm not straining my eyes to read. The margins are perfect for note taking or doodling. The pages FEEL nice. I recently purchased a different bible that I won't be using because I can't stand the feel of the pages. These keep that silky feel while being thick enough that there isn't any bleed through.
It is large, but it fits in a large bible carrier just fine and it isn't at all cumbersome.
Once I get this one all filled up with notes and such I'll just buy this one again. This is the bible all the others need to measure up to for me now.

Excellent resource to lay out scriptural notes
I've recently begun really studying the bible and trying to understand doctrine. My main bible has been a Holman KJV reference bible, because I learn by comparing scripture with scripture, and it's references have been tremendously instrumental in that regard. But I discovered I became somewhat overwhelmed with what I learned and needed a place to kind of lay it all out to help me make sense of it more. This bible is the perfect answer for that. The cover is soft and flexible, the pages have a nice-on-the-eyes light yellow tint, large font (relatively speaking, for a note taking bible), withstand pens and highlighters, and Christ's words are in red. I actually bought some other note taking bibles, but they didn't feel "comfortable" to me, they were hardcover, and heavy and clunky. I love that this bible is soft and basically just feels cozy to hold, to write in (it can be flexed back and folded on itself) and to also flip thru and read. Conveniently, the book names and chapter numbers are nicely on the upper edge of the pages, so you can flip the page edges find them easily (for some reason, my other note taking bibles had that in the center of the page) Important since I don't want to put bible tabs in this bible as I don't want to take away any room I could use for taking notes. This is really well made, I'm thankful Holman designed it as they have, I highly recommend it.

This is a great bible! I really enjoy the extra space for note taking. My previous bible was a KJV Thompson Chain Reference that I've used for 23 years, so this one is much different than what I am used to. I posted some side by side pics of this bible with my current one for a bit of a comparison. It may sound weird but I am really enjoying not having the cross references to look to, but simply study God's word more to make my own cross references as I go. My notes were all over the place in my reference bible but now I can just jot them down in this one which I absolutely love. At the moment I am doing Luke for December, 24 chapters = read a chapter a day for December and by Christmas you've read Jesus's life. So I am really enjoying having the extra space. The gold gilded edges are so pretty and go very well with the color of the cover. The cover is nice and the pages hold up well. Only issue was the front and back pages were splitting at the seam, I simply put Tim Holtz linen tape to hold together. Doesn't bother me at all as I usually add a lot of extras to my bible anyways. Highly recommend this bible.

I am satisfied with this bible. It has so much space to write notes and comments. I would have liked it to be a little larger print. The bible on top is my old large print bible. The notetaking bible is underneath. The print is smaller and lighter not as bold. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

one of the best note taking bibles. took forever to come from USA to England but I waited patiently. the pages do not bleed through or ghost. I used the amazon highlighters and they work so well in the bible, only the Arteza bleed through because they are meant for art not bible use. the zebra mildliners do not bleed through as well.The only thing that ghosts through are the pens I used previously but I've bought the zebra sarasa so am yet to try those. overall I'm happy with this bible and highly recommend it for getting in God's word and Journalling for those of us that need to retain information better. The font is not too big but because it's on beige/yellow paper it stands out and makes the words easier to read. on top of that it's a red letter bible. I don't quite like the yellow pages but I'm getting used to it. I also used the rainbow tabbies but this batch was faulty as the tab didn't align but overall, Yayyyy, Icouldn't be more happier with my purchase. I'm a bible girly... guilty as charged but I'd rather buy a bible than a bottle of whisky for the same price. that's my new addiction and it's a better one than harming your lungs.MissKimmEVery pretty and a KJV as well... double blessings
