(Artist / Director)
Andy Roda is a Filipino-Danish multidisciplinary artist. A singer, songwriter, producer, theatre actor, dancer, and DJ whose work bridges music, performance, and visual art. A classically trained musician with roots in gospel, soul, and house, he began honing his craft as a child singing solos in church. Andy Roda has released music on major labels such as Virgin, SONY, and Kontor, as well as respected underground imprints including Kingstreet, Simma Black, Ibadan, Tinted, and Milk & Sugar. He continues to champion creative independence while reaching new heights through his own label, ALIGN Records.
Following his award-winning music video and song “Oh Là Là” which earned him Winner at the International Film Festival Manhattan (as Artist/Director) and his chart-topping single “Get On Up!” reaching #6 on the ARIA Australian Club Charts, Roda celebrates over two decades in music since his debut “DISH” on Virgin Records, continuing to evolve with new releases through ALIGN Records.
Having performed on international stages, he has starred in major musicals such as Moulin Rouge (as “Babydoll”), Miss Saigon (“The Engineer” cover), BEAT IT (Acting Captain), and Efter Brylluppet (based on the Oscar-nominated Danish film After the Wedding).
With a love for fashion, Roda found his niche collaborating with luxury brands including Tiffany & Co., Chanel, and Giorgio Armani, fusing his artistry and DJ’ing into immersive, high-end experiences.
Notable highlights include touring as lead vocalist for the platinum-selling Danish act Safri Duo; representing Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest as the first Filipino artist with his original song “Love Is Love”; and appearing on Ed McMahon’s Next Big Star on American television. He has opened for the Backstreet Boys and Emma Bunton (Spice Girls) and written songs for the K-pop and Asian markets, including for artists Mr. Tiger, S9F, and the Philippines’ “Ultimate Showgirl,” Vina Morales.
As an advocate for cultural exchange, Roda co-founded the P-NOiSE Festival – a Filipino arts, music, dance, and film platform featured by CNN, held in Copenhagen, Paris, and Manila, supporting both local and international artists.
Roda continues to evolve and reach new heights through his independent imprint, ALIGN Records.
