About Andy Russell

I’m a Senior Analyst at the Committee on Climate Change. I look at policy and science related to flooding and coastal change.

I was previously a Senior Lecturer in Climate Change at Brunel University. The aim of some of my research there was to understand how thunderstorms form in a changing climate. I also worked on Antarctic weather and climate, which was the theme of my PhD. I was Programme Director for the BSc in Environmental Sciences.

I’ve put a list of my scientific papers here but they can be a bit technical.
