Walking
For the last couple of years since Pug began training to join the RAF, (he didn’t join and now says he’s become a pacifist) I have been using my pink cybershot phone as a pedometer among other things. I also use it as my camera and my alarm clock (I have a newer phone to make calls on).
The walkmate application shows how many steps I have taken in any one day. The more steps I take the higher the column for that day grows (with a miniature man walking on top of the column). It only shows the number of steps for that day but the columns remain for a week. Each day it calculates the average steps over the previous week and gives me my daily target of steps to beat. I always try to beat not only my daily target but the previous day’s steps.
Working in an office does not lend itself to huge amounts of steps. But I do try to go down to the warehouse as often as I can to boost my steps. There are times when I don’t have a pocket (most days) so I tend to wear it inside my waistband but this is not always possible.
Now that I am trying to get fitter I want to keep a record of my daily steps to see how I am doing. I have asked Pug if he can create a graph for me to use. If anyone has any other suggestions or knows of a link to something I could use please let e know. In the meantime I shall try to log how many steps I have managed each day along with my target for that day.

ha ha nice of you to say so but not really and I have not recorded my steps during October purely because I have been too tired to remember to record what I have done but I have still been keeping up with the walking some days more than others.
