BIOGRAPHY

At only three years old, she knew that she wanted to be a singer. Also determined to accompany herself on piano, she started with piano and vocal lessons. ​At about eight years old, she started to write her own songs, usually in Dutch or made-up English. Later on, as a teen, she picked up the guitar and got more serious in her songwriting. And she hasn't stopped since.

​ Anouk's catchy melodies and melancholic harmonies are memorable, but what will really capture you, are her raw, powerful voice and her contagious and warm energy. ​​Her lyrics are poetic yet honest, telling stories you will feel comforted by. Almost all of her tracks build toward an uplifting conclusion, and carry an emotional journey that leaves listeners with a sense of resolution.
