Welcome to the Apache httpd Community!
This is where you can discuss all about Apache web server, ask questions, get help, code samples, examples, and that sort of things that are related to Apache!
In addition, this Community can be used to discuss of installing & setting up Apache web server on your server, so we can share the knowledge with everyone.
What is Apache?
The Apache Project is a collaborative software development effort aimed at creating a robust, commercial-grade, featureful, and freely-available source code implementation of an HTTP (Web) server. The project is jointly managed by a group of volunteers located around the world, using the Internet and the Web to communicate, plan, and develop the server and its related documentation. These volunteers are known as the Apache Group. In addition, hundreds of users have contributed ideas, code, and documentation to the project. This file is intended to briefly describe the history of the Apache Group and recognize the many contributors.

Check out the Netcraft's Web Server Survey here. The number of web server running as Apache currently stands at 27 millions as of now. That's how popular Apache is!
How do I get it?
You can download the Apache binaries from Apache.org, which are available for *Unix and Windows.

To get involved with making Apache better, you can join the Apache HTTP Server Mailing Lists. If you found any bugs, you can post it on their Bug Reporting page.
