Christmas and New Years

I am not so good at keeping this up to date. I think at the beginning of the year I will be better, but with all the holidays, and some crazy changes in my life, I haven't been very good.

I also need to actually add pictures of me rather then of some cross country trip I wasn't even on!

So Christmas this year I went home to the parents in Brigham City with Hyrum. It was a quiet Christmas! Maria and Spencer and his fam were all in Denver with the kiddies. Hyrum had to leave that day since Idaho was getting lots of snow and he had to get home before the weather was bad. I actually felt like an only child at Christmas! Mike and Sharla came up that evening but couldn't stay long since Mike had to be back to work

On Friday I left for Denver and now have been here for a few days. I will be here for New Years and then will go home on Wed. However, there may be a change of plans if I get a phone call from this company in Phoenix. It would be a dream job for me! Half the time you are in Phoenix, and during the summer I would be on a ranch in Colorado! Talk about having best of both worlds!

I left my job the week before Christmas and I felt really good about what I did. Now lets pray that the house situation will work out, and it won't be something that keeps me from doing what I want to do.

I added a few pictures, but they are a little old, so I will need to back track a bit. The one with all the brothers and sisters was the Sunday after my very first 10k race. We all went home for Peach Days in Brigham City and ran it together. Now we are all going to make the goal of the 1/2 marathon in Salt Lake!! What am I thinking!! Of course the crazy running brothers will do the full. The other picture is from Abbey's Baptism in October. It was fun to once again go to Denver and be with my nieces and nephews.

In a nut shell for 2007 I have run 3 races (never in a million years would I ever think I could do a 5k! let alone a 10! I still have a long ways to go.) I have enjoyed teaching my little sunbeam class, helped plan and carried out the Johnson Family Reunion, the braces came off....Yahoo!!!! Went on some great dates, and still waiting to not have to date anymore!! Maybe 2008 will be the year for that!

Half way there

Spencer and the crew are half way across the US! They are in Kentucky right now I think. Either that or Tennessee I can't remember. Evan has been updating us with pictures as they drive across the Good Ole USA!
Tonight I put up some Christmas decorations around the house. Christmas comes and goes so fast that sometimes I think as soon as I put them up, I will have to take them down!
Today after three years, I put in my notice at work!!! AAAHHHH!! I am staying until the end of the year. Now I just need to get my house sold and decide where in the world I need to go. Such a bitter sweet feeling.

Topsy Turveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Ok so I am finally entering the world of people seeing your day to day life! I have enjoyed reading everyone else's, so why not create my own!
The last 24 hours have been a bit crazy! I just got word yesterday that some changes are going to be made here at my job, so I decided it was time for me to move on and start a new adventure. The house will go up for sale, and I will do my best to decide where in the world I should go. Denver and Phoenix are on the list! Any other suggestions? If you have any brilliant plans, let me know!

Thanksgiving was great! I had Ma, Pa, Maria, Hy, Sharla and Mike at my house for dinner and then later on in the day Mike's family came over to play games. Pa brought pumpkin pies, Ma made a turkey, Sharla the famous green bean casserole, and Hy the drinks! We all stuffed our faces and it was over in 10 min like usual. It was a bit of a let down this year because everyone ha to go back to work! Well everyone but Maria and HY. So we went and saw the movie August Rush. LOVED IT! So good!!
It is now snowing outside and I am thankful to be at my desk with a warm heater! Anyone want to go warm up my car?
