Wait, where did December go?! Merry Christmas!

Okay, I'm going to try to do this the short way. We have had a BUSY but FUN December and Christmas season! We spent lots of time with family and we even got time in there for friends! Preston had more football games with his buddies, I had a girls night with my girls I still see from the Sorority and we did a fun gift exchange. And we've hung out with our good friends the Parry's and they're actually coming over again tonight! So it sure has been busy but very fun! Let the pictures explain.

Every time the family gets together they have to hang out by him. It's so cute to watch him with them and watch them with him! They always have fun with him!

This Christmas village was SO cute!!! We went with Heidi and Chase, my aunt and uncle and cousins.. Ted and Melyssa and their kids, my family and Oma and Opa. It was a fun time!

Next, we had lots of Christmas parties! These pictures are from the Rhoades Christmas party. This family is HUGE! They're a fun bunch! For this party, instead of doing a gift exchange, everybody made or brought a blanket to donate to Primary Childrens Medical Center. It was such a good idea. Preston and I both made our blankets along with his parents and sister. There were such cute and nice blankets and with the big family this side is, that hospital will get plenty of blankets!ImageHere is Aunt Cathy, Tauni and little Lydia.ImageMaddy and Gavin. Gavin is 2, Maddy is 4. Look how big Gavin is! He's the biggest 2 year old!

How sweet is he! And they all fit perfectically and all looked so good! He has great taste! I got him a couples massage that we'll cash in in a couple of weeks!

Well there ya have it. Sorry for the overload on pictures. I told ya it was a busy month! It was all fun but I'm ready to get back into the normal routine of life! I can't belive Christmas has come and gone! All that work for one day =) But it was such a wonderful season. We had so much good times with family, and we loved being in primary and seeing our kids help out in the Christmas Story and just feeling the spirit of Christmas! Thanks to all our family members for all of your wonderful gifts and goodies! P.S. I forgot to mention my parents advent party. I of course forgot my camera but that was a wonderful get together with family and that party always helps bring in the Christmas spirit and always has fantastic food haha. We love all of you and hope you all had a great Christmas!

I'm off to go order pizza and hang out with Shawn and Katie. Finally, a night at home to just play games and eat pizza! haha. If you made it this far into the LONGEST blog! Congrats haha.

Ciao!

HAPPY TWO!!!!

ImageIt is our two year anniversary today!!! It has been the greatest two years ever. With our up's and down's our adventures and experiences, I wouldn't trade any of it for anything. I love Preston and we have the greatest relationship and are truly best friends! He is the most amazing man! One example (of many!) last night, I wasn't feeling very good, I had a really bad head ache, kinda sick to my stomach and very tired from the last 2 weeks/weekends that have been non-stop so after dinner, Preston told me to go lay down and I go out a little bit after and he has laundry going in the washer, the kitchen cleaned up and the dishwasher running! The little things that he does like that mean the world! He's so smart... he totally aced this last semester in his really hard classes! He is so loving and so kind to everybody and always gives everybody a chance and isn't one to judge! He has one amazing testimony and is such a great teacher to our little primary kids! I'm so lucky to have him! I'm excited for the rest of forever we have together and what our lives have in store for us! I can't believe it's been 2 years already! Whew, time flies when you are having fun! Image

Thanksgiving and more!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We sure did. This year we were with my side of the family and we all got together at Oma's and Opa's for lots and lots and lots of food! It was all sooo good and it was so fun to spend time with the crazy family! Here are pictures of our Thanksgiving!ImageImageSorry it's blurry, but here is pretty mom!

We play BINGO every year and win some fun, yummy prizes!ImageMe and my buddy JessImagenap time after dinner!ImagePeter and CadenceImageJess and CadenceImageOkay, this has a long explanation, I'll try to shorten it up. A couple weekends ago, Xander fell into Oma's and Opa's pond when we were all there for Oma's birthday. Isaac, Ben and Jared saved Xander and pulled him out of the icy pond. And my dad saw them trying to help him, so my dad ran out there brought Xander inside so my dad got a Bravery award for helping to save Xander. The 3 boys also got awards (they made a big deal about those 3 little boys being hero's it was cute and they were so excited, but they all ran off to play before I could get a picture of them with their awards.) Melyssa also got a bravery award for saving Jared and Issac when they both fell into the pond a couple years ago. It was so nice of Oma and Opa to think of this, mostly for those little boys! They were so proud of their awards!
ImageFriday I had the day off so I got the house all decked out in Christmas while Preston went into work for a couple of hours. When he got home, we thought it'd be fun to go up to Park City. We went up there and got some dinner and walked Main Street. Everything is all ready for Christmas it was a fun date, then we rented Hancock.... it's an awesome movie! This is us in Park CityImageImageBy our apartment is this cul-de-sac and it's DECKED out! The top house is like the grizwalds and this bottom house is syncronized to music. This picture does NOT do justice, you have to see it! If you want to know where it is, ask me and I'll tell you how to get there. It's insane but SO cool!ImageHere is our little Chrismas tree!Image
Saturday Preston had a football game, he played AWESOME!!! He got 2 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion and a bunch of tackles. His whole team did great, but I was most proud of Preston! And he sure looks good in his Football gear! Both our families came to the game so it was fun for them too! This picture is of Preston during warm up.

ImageImage
The Aces lost but they put out a great fight they only lost by 1 touchdown. Preston got 2 out of the 4 touchdowns and his good friend Mason got one of the others. It's so fun watching Preston and he LOVES playing. He plays with a bunch of his good friends so even when they lose they all still have a great time!

Well, there ya have it. Our busy weekend, and they're about to get even more busy starting this weekend with Christmas stuff!
