Detailed design for the construciton of a WWTP at an Ice Cream factory in Valencia. 2025 Spain

Preparation of the basic engineering for the construction of a WWTP at an Ice Cream factory in Valencia, for subsequent tendering for construction. The selected solution is «Physical-Chemical Treatment + MBBR.» The plant will be a permanent facility that must be built, to the extent possible, in prefabricated modules, minimizing civil works to provide greater flexibility for future plant expansion..

Technical Study of the Puerto de la Cruz wastewater treatment plant, Tenerife. 2025 Spain

Preparation of a technical study to review the measures needed to improve the effluent quality of the Santa Cruz WWTP (Tenerife), currently operated by Aqualia. Including assessment of the current state. Study of the process for best possible solution and estimation of the potential investment of the proposed solution.

Technical consulting for preparation of bid documentation for the “Demineralized water plant” project for Moeve – La Rábida. 2025 Spain

Moeve (formerly CEPSA) is tendering the construction and operation of a water treatment plant for its refinery in La Rábida, Huelva. Moeve intends to expand its water facilities, it will be fed with raw water from the reservoir and also osmosis water. The scope of the contractor’s supply includes both the pre-production phases and operation and maintenance to maintain the supply with the required flow rate and characteristics.

Aqua Advise has been contracted by a Aqualia Industrial to provide specialized technical advice to carry out the different phases of preparation of the offer, into which a project of these characteristics is divided.

Water expert advisor on water industrial & reuse plants for Laundries in Spain. 2025. Spain. Funded by European Investment Bank (EIB)

The overall objective of this assignment is to design and develop an effective water efficiency and recycling strategy to operate ILUNION’s laundry facilities, aiming to save water and the costs associated with water supply and wastewater discharge services, and to improve the environmental performance and sustainability strategy. In addition, the Assignment will look at all the relevant efficiency aspects of the laundry core functions, while living up to the specific requirements laid down in the Energy Efficiency Directive and give special attention to water reuse options.

Technical Study of several WWTPs ́for Junta de Andalucía. 2023-2025. Spain.

The scope of work includes the technical study for 42 plants in which the analysis of the process and E&C disciplines has been developed.

Independent technical support for ACUAMED (the Spanish public entity that manages water from desalination plants) of two desalination plants (Valdeventisco and Campo de Dalias). Expert advice to review, supervise, and validate the studies, analyses, and reports being carried out by equipment suppliers and plant operators.

Fortaleza SWRO Project, Pretreatment Design Review. 2024. Brazil.

Aqua Advise adopted a proactive approach during the pretreatment review, highlighting and suggesting potential improvements that, based on our experience, may lead to both lowering costs and/or increased reliability.

Technical Due Diligence of SWRO desalination plant. 2024. Morocco.

Technical DD and commissioning support a Desalination Faciliy. Detailed analysis of the current situation of performance, analysing all the details of the equipment’s, membranes, etc in terms of process, mechanics, installation, operation and maintenance of the SWRO. Design, engineering works (Process, EEMM, I&C, Civil & architectural), CAPEX & OPEX for a 2,400 m3/day industrial water treatment plant, in the region of Huelva.

Feasibility Study «Dissalatore di Brindisi” (Brindisi desalination plant). 2023. Italy.

This study aims to define the environmental conditions useful for the correct design of the desalination plant. In addition, the necessary research will be carried out to evaluate the correct management of the brine produced by the process, in order to obtain a correct operation of the plant and minimize the impact on the marine environment.

The client contacted Aqua Advise do a technical inspection, and evaluation of the water plant of the Kaxu Solar One project to point out the existing problems.

Shuweiath 4 RO SWRO IWP Project, Owner’s Engineer Services. 2023. UAE.

The plant will desalinate seawater using low-carbon intensive RO technology and supply up to 70 million imperial gallons per day (MIGD) of potable water, equivalent to 3318,225 cubic meters per day, enhancing the security of water supply in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region.
