Formed in Los Angeles in 2019, AREA 55 has been standing out in the modern rock/metal scene by blending influences like Shinedown and Bad Omens with a nostalgic heavy metal vibe — all with genuine authenticity. With explosive riffs and intense atmospheres, the band moves seamlessly between brutality and melody, past and future.

The lineup features Júlio Federici (vocals), Mika Jaxx (guitar), Henrique Baboom (bass), and Lexxi Souza (drums) — musicians with solid careers in both the national and international rock scenes.

Their debut album, ONE OCEAN (2020), marked the beginning of the journey alongside producer Brendan Duffey. In 2025, following the release of the album UNLOCKED, the band
entered a new phase with the single UNREAL, further solidifying their identity with power and emotion.
