I am taking Date Ariane out of the itch.io store to avoid confusion.  If you own it already you can still access it, but Date Ariane Remastered is the new game.

I have been developing indie games for over 20 years.  My first was Ariane's Date Simulator first uploaded in HTML/Javascript in 2004. 

It was the first of it's kind western style date simulator, featuring a single female rendered in 3D using Poser software, and emulating a first date.

It went viral in 2007, and inspired a whole new genre.  My website could not handle the traffic, so I made it a downloadable HTML game.  After a few years updating the game, it was time to make a sequel. 

Keeping a downloadable HTML game working with constant changes to HTML coding was hard, so I decided to make the sequel Something's In The Air as a stand alone game using the Renpy engine in 2012.

It was the first visual novel on Renpy using 3D renders instead of Manga style art, and it has inspired thousands of other titles.

I converted and updated Ariane's Date Simulator in 2014 to Date Ariane and it remains my most popular title.

I later followed up Something's In The Air with a short game Rachel Meets Ariane which I released as a web story in 2016, and as a renpy game in 2017. The fourth game Ariane in Paradise was released in late 2019, and a fifth Hopepunk City came out in 2021.

Something's In The Air Redux combines Something's In The Air and Rachel Meets Ariane as a combined game.

Date Ariane has been getting updates every 4 years or so. In 2018, I made it HD. In 2022, I Remastered to wide screen and added new features, and in 2026 I did a 2.0 remaster using more modern Daz Studio IRay graphics.

In 2024, Ariane in Paradise was updated to 2.0 with Daz Studio renderings giving it a fresh coat of paint.

I'm currently working on a new 5th game Dating in a World on Fire.
