Array Academy was founded in 2017 by Dr Chris Hutton and Dr Judith Storm with the aim of improving patient safety in medical aesthetics by providing courses with the highest training standards in the UK & Ireland. Array Academy offers delegates a mix of hands-on practical injecting experience with informative, structured online theory and rigorous assessment. Dr Chris Hutton
MB BCH BAO (QUB) PGCert (AesMed Lon.)
Chris is a trainer and innovation partner with Merz Aesthetics, a branch of the global multinational company, Merz Pharma. He assists Merz with education provision to medical professionals throughout the UK and Ireland. Chris is also co-founder alongside Dr. Jude of Array Academy, their own private aesthetic training school based in the UK and Ireland.
Dr Chris completed his undergraduate medical training at Queen’s University Belfast in 2009 before completing further study in Aesthetic Medicine at Queen Mary University, London. Chris is a highly experienced injector having performed over 10,000 injectable procedures in the last 10 years. Chris is a passionate educator and teacher with a particular focus on patient safety.
Dr Judith Storm
MBChB (Edin.) MRCP
Dr Jude is an experienced aesthetic practitioner and skincare specialist with a passion and particular expertise for teaching. She gained a postgraduate certificate in education from Queen’s University Belfast and has acted as an examiner for postgraduate medical college exams. She is co-founder of Array Academy alongside Dr Chris.
Dr Jude graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2010. She worked as a hospital registrar doctor until 2018.
Dr Sian Hennessy
MB BCh BAO MRCGP(2019)
Dr Siân graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2013. She gained her MRCGP in 2019 and now works both in and out of hours as a GP.
She gained her aesthetic qualifications through Array Academy and uses a patient centred approach in her practice.
She has always loved teaching, starting through school teaching dance classes, teaching piano throughout medical school and taking medical students and junior doctors under her wing during clinical practice. Having been on the delegate end of these courses in the past, Siân has a fresh understanding of what it’s like entering a new world of aesthetic practice. She is very approachable and happy to help!
Nurse Donnamarie McGrillen
MB BCh BAO (QUB), PG dip
Registered Nurse Donnamarie started her undergraduate nurse training at Trinity College Dublin further completing with a first class honours at Ulster University.
Nurse Donnamarie is a passionate advocate for medical education and immediately embarked on her first Aesthetic Course immediately post degree while working as a fertility nurse within the NHS. After completing all of Array Academy’s Aesthetic courses and many 1:1 programmes with Dr Chris Hutton, Nurse Donnamarie has became a highly experienced full time injector treating patients for over 5 years and recently has become an Independent Nurse Prescriber.
Nurse Donnamarie currently is completing a masters at Queens University and also works as a clinical educator for the Array Academy team.
