Welcome to the 2023 ARTCADE!

Who: YOU! And your hosts, SCUMSUCK and deflectric.
What: OC art trades! You create work (illustration, writing, crafts, anything!) for someone's character, and they MUST return the trade!
When: JULY 1ST - AUGUST 1ST 2023
Where: Here, the Artcade Dreamwidth community.

Your characters have traveled back in time to the completely made-up Greco-Roman Empire! How fun.. except that Mount Vesuvius is about to erupt, and you're right in the middle of Pompeii! How will you escape and make it back in time, AND out of italy?

Why, with the power of CREATIVITY!

How to Artcade:

1. Join the community in order to post in it and view other's posts.
   
   
   • Make sure you're ok with NSFW art, which may include forbidden kinks like incest, noncon, ageplay, necrophilia, and handholding.
     
   • Members will be manually approved. That means if I don't recognize you, or if you don't appear to be friends with anyone I know, I won't approve you. You should DM me with how you found Artcade, if you want me to approve you.
     
   • If you want your friend to join, you should DM me to let me know their username.
   
   
2. Reply to the Entry Token collection booth with your information. Use the template if you need help!
   
3. Make sure you have email notifications on for replies to your Entry Token post, so that you'll know when someone makes you something!
   
4. Read other people's intros, IMBIBE the knowledge of their characters. Talk to each other about your characters and perhaps become friends!
   
5. Create something for someone, based on their Entry Token.
   
6. Post your creation to this community as its own post!
   
   
   • Images can be uploaded via dreamwidth and posted within the post.
     
   • Writing can be posted under a cut, or you can link an external document like google docs.
     
   • Remember to set your posts to be viewable by members only!

7. Comment on that person's intro. Tell them that you made something for them, and link your creation so they can see
   
8. Congrats, you now have ONE artcade ticket!
   
9. If someone made something for you? THANK YOUR GIFTER! And make something for them! OR ELSE!
   
10. Returning a trade? CONGRATS! You now have another ONE artcade ticket!
    
11. Comment on other people's creations they made for other people! Spread the love!!
    
12. Redeem your Artcade Tickets for FABULOUS digital prizes, such as your very own customizable Scout base!
