I like to write stories, draw and paint, compose music, make films, create computer games and similar nonsense. Even though I have fun with some games from time to time, it doesn't happen very often, because I am more interested in making games than playing them. I am not a professional programmer and I never studied it at school, so I don't expect to be excellent at it. But I like old, simple, crappy computers and sometimes I enjoy creating cute little worlds with them. A long time ago I made several games in BASIC language for some of these machines, many years later I learned assembler so I could make games that wouldn't make anyone vomit. This allows me to come up with new crazy tricks for ZX Spectrum, and in every game I try to use at least one little thing that I have never seen on this computer. I do it alone, just for fun in my free time, and creating games is only a small part of my activities, so I don't expect it to go very quickly. I don't use game-making engines, program libraries, or generative language models. Nothing against it, but I wouldn't enjoy it and the result would probably look like a lot of other games. I prefer difficult low-level handwork with a bit of an original touch (game ideas or technical execution). Here are my finished games in assembler (only one so far).
