When it rains...
...it pours... :-|
On the way to work last night, the battery indicator on my Geo Prizm came on. After research last night, it seems it indicates the alternator is dead.
On the way to work tonight, some of the electrical system things started slowing down / stopped working, indicating a very low power battery. I hope I have enough juice to make it home.
Looked online, and I can get a replacement alternator for $113 or so at Advance Auto. However, I have *NO* clue how to replace one.
Any do-it-yourself mechanics wanna come over and swap out an alternator? It'll have to be after payday (Friday) because we're stone broke right now...
*sigh*
/me ready to shoot the damn car.

Hey..it's the Big Apple...
...rotten to the core...
Well, I'm in NYC. Sitting in my hotel room of the Times Square Marriott hotel. Work didn't spring for a view of Times Square, but I don't really care.
Only "issue" was when I got to the hotel, they wanted the credit card the room was reserved on. Which would be in my manager's wallet back in Atlanta. :-|
So, had to call him, get a fax #, have them send a form, he had to fill it out, and fax it back before they'd give me the room. Gah...would have been nice if they'd told us BEFORE the trip.
Anyhue...about to head out over to the conference. Dunno when I'll be back to the hotel room. :)))))
LOVE to my honey,
zhenya_parris. I miss you already very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!
