CONNECTING CAROLINA WITH ASIA

About Us

Carolina Asia Center is the flagship Asia institute of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the leading center of its kind in the southeastern U.S. Our mission is to promote intercultural exchange between the U.S. and Asia, and to improve and support education and research on Asia.

We develop resources for engagement with Asia-related topics through seminars, language study, outreach, cultural competency, study abroad and visiting scholars programs. Beyond Carolina, we collaborate with regional and international institutions to develop educational programs that focus on Asia.
