I'm thrilled to see Blades of Exile revived. Is there a way to enlarge the main window and the font? I see that there is only a scaling option of 1,5 in preferences. It's almost unplayable this way unfortunately.

edit: it also doesn't help to change screen resolution in Windows to 800x600 as this distorts the UI, the font stays tiny and the main window still doesn't fill the screen (see screenshot 2 further below).

I purchased the hardcover book. It's beautifully made and well bound. However I wondered if there is a chance for a ring-bound version on Lulu. I think it would be a great advantage for such a book to have it lie flat on the table during gameplay.

I have everything ready - a working Psion Series 3, the 3Link, an adapter. Unfortunately PsiWin doesn't seem to install under 64bit Windows anymore. How do you transfer data to the device? Thank you!

Can't wait for the Spectrum Next Issue 3 to arrive in a few months... this beauty will be one of the first I'll play on the platform. 

You should definitely check out TI-calculator gaming and programming if you don't know it already. There are dozens and dozens of great games and applications for these devices, especially for the TI-84 Plus (the classic monochrome one, not the later rebrandings TI-84 Plus CSE and CE) and TI-89 Titanium, ticalc.org's archives are choke-full of great stuff: https://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/. 

I'm sure I'll have great fun with the Series 3 - I look forward to dive in this new ocean of possibilities. Thank you again for your help.

Fantastic, thank you so much for taking the time and elaborate. I found a good offer for a Psion 3 256k in reasonably well condition, plus a connection cable and a flash SSD with 256k. Now for the USB to serial-adapter and I'm ready to go. :)

It feels like a new world opening up to me which is really exciting. I like such closed and technically limited systems very much, they are like reminiscences of the golden age of computing in the early 80ies where every last bit of memory was important and where clever use of the limited resources allowed for some of the most creative and fun games

A funny thing by the way: Your game's graphics immediately reminded me a bit of the TI-84 classic Joltima. Joltima was my gateway game in the world of programmable calculators - and Dragonfell is my gateway in the realm of Psion Series 3.

Hello. The updates occur very regularly - which is a great thing - but I've never played the game far because I always feared I'd have to restart after some updates. I wouldn't want to invest myself too deep in the story and gameplay if restarts are necessary. Is it possible to use older savegames with newer versions of the game? Thank you!

I just purchased the game digital on Bitmapsoft's website. I'm puzzled as of why there is no PDF of the manual included with the download. Is there a reason for this? Thanks. Your game looks awesome btw.

I'm unable to solve the temple mystery. I understand that I have to use the magically summoned clouds to jump in the sky and find something up there, yet I only find one place where I can do that - to the right of the village, in the screen where the ghost appears. Alas I'm unable to get anywhere in the sky - I can jump some clouds but I'm unable to reach anything. Is the solution up there or is there another place? Thank you!

I own two GBCs, yet I still would like to get a ROM version as an option. Playing these games on other handhelds or even on the mobile is a great way to enjoy them everywhere. I can't understand why there is no digital version available. You cut out large profits this way as the community is much bigger if you include all the owners of modern handheld devices. For me not to offer a digital option shows either really bad business instincts or of rigid elitist principles, maybe both. Anyway.

By the way: lulu is another great way to get books printed on demand. They also offer ringbound options, that's really useful for gamebooks and similar books the player doesn't keep in hand all the time.

I'll buy the game soon, just not decided yet if physical or digital.

Congratulations to the release! I just purchased it. After the great fun I had with the original game it was an instant purchase. By the way, I feel that this game would make for an extraordinaire solitaire boardgame.

I really can't wait to try this game. I absolutely love the unique graphical style.

I'm very happy to hear that. I never finished the original but always liked the unique Agatha-Christie-like atmosphere it brought to the C64. A unique game and absolutely worth a remake. 

This one is the predecessor of Maupiti Island, right? I never played it but enjoyed Maupiti Island a great deal. Is Mortville Manor still in development?

Congratulations to the release! This is a real classic and I still play it on MacOS 9 via Sheepshaver. Great to see an enhanced windows port. One question: I don't find a possibility to adjust/scale the game window to the the screen resolution. This way with a regular 1920x1080 resolution the game window is tiny and the game practically unplayble. Is there a chance to change resolution in the game options instead of having to change it in windows manually every time? Thank you for your work!

Now wait a second - an enhanced Camp Keepalive-game? That makes me really happy! I very much enjoyed the original many years ago, such a pleasant and clever game and so unique. I still have it here, the original files. I purchased it on your own website back then.

One question: Are there real dead ends? I mean stuff like "Oh no! You forgot to take this or that totally inconspicuous item hours ago? Then you're stuck for good and can restart the game". You know, these f*** you!-dead end traps Sierra was "famous" for. ;)

Aesthetically, it's a real work of art and looks absolutely gorgeous. The basic concept of playing on three different "planes" (city/settlement, wilderness, dungeon) with the possibility to travel between places by ship is excellent and works well and gives the game a nice flow. I'd like a bit more complexity however as very much depends on die throws alone. Some simple stats to give me an impression of the characer I play, maybe in the direction of Fabled Lands (the gamebooks), would add to the immersion for me without complicate things too much. Anyway - I'm happy to own this lovely book and I don't regret having backed it with the extras.

Hi, I'm very thrilled about your games (I just discovered them today). I especially love the care you took for creating the maps and extras. One thing I noticed: the walkthrough for Act 2 is not in PDF-format and I can't open it.

Perfect, I just made the purchase. It's too early to give a feedback, but boy did you nail the weird atmosphere, very lovecraftish indeed. :) And it also reminds me a bit on Ossuary in style and mood.

edit: and I think I'll have to re-read The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath...

I thank you for what you do. It's always a pleasure to follow development. For me, Ambermoon.net is a perfect remake: You optimize and enhance it where it makes sense and make it more accessible without changing the rest. This way it stays the Ambermoon I played years ago with all its magic and uniqueness but feels modern and is excellently playable at the same time. This act of balancing is something almost no modern remake really manages to achieve. It's an absolutely terrific job you do!
