Orange Center, Bulgaria’s leading books and stationery retailer, faced a common challenge. Gifting wasn’t personal. It was a process. They wanted to help their customers experience the joy of giving, not the logistics of buying. They needed a unified space where loyalty felt inherent, data flowed into smarter conversations, and the physical and digital stores blurred into one interaction.
Our goal was to facilitate that evolution. We didn’t just build a mobile app. We engineered the fluidity Orange Center needed. Our collaborative vision was to go beyond connecting existing systems and expand them with smart gifting and personalization to deliver an uninterrupted mobile commerce experience. The work was about exploring, testing, and growing together until we crafted the smooth, inspired digital version they envisioned

Hero Feature: Logged-in users can create a personal Profiles Database of friends and family, storing key details like birthdays, interests, and special occasions. That information powers the smart recommendations, so suggested gifts actually make sense. Users can also keep multiple wishlists or favorites, and use the Refer a Friend feature to grow the community.
Context
Orange already had a complex digital ecosystem: ERP, eCommerce, and a new CRM Loyalty system.
Integrating these different systems and accurately classifying a massive product catalog by age, gender, and interests was a task that required sophisticated, custom engineering, not a simple application build.
