[ Residents of this street are by now well-used to the routine of the tallest dude in town striding up to a particular house's door, knocking, then folding his arms and waiting to be let in. It's a little like watching a cat come home to scratch at the door to be let inside.
It's usually happening a little later than usual nowadays, though. Kuja's been missing breakfasts consistently. The unstated reason.. is that he's putting in some solid work on pulling together that magic engine he promised Sparrow as payment for much-needed services rendered. ]

WHERE: SOMEWHERE... Maybe on the outskirts of town? IDK what is geography.
WHEN: Early April.
[The shrine isn't large by any means. It is a modest size, the top creating a small overhang that someone short or average in height might be able to stand beneath if caught in the rain. It is simply built, but sturdy, and adorned with the little trimmings that everyone who helped added in the process along the way.
A wooden carving of a crane is placed carefully inside- a contribution Rinne Amagi had made, before many of the recent untimely events. People are welcome to add their own personal touch before it is declared finished. And once it is, praying or giving thanks to the spirit that saved everyone with the cranes in the void is optional.
Food is provided and decorates tables that have been dragged outside for their use. It is to help feed those who worked hard, but anyone who shows up is welcome to partake, whether they helped build or not. There are a few desserts scattered about, meat sticks, and a pot of soup. As for drinks, there is plain water, tea, or apple juice. Drink that at your discretion. Nothing is too fancy, but after the last couple of weeks, everyone deserves a little bit of a break and a good meal.
Lastly, at one table nearest the shrine is a paper crane station. There, those who would like to learn how to fold paper cranes can be taught. They can take their cranes home or add their own to a growing pile that will be hung up on the shrine.
Hopefully, it is a nice reprieve for people after the recent storm of events, and a breather for everyone who joins before the next.]

rootlessly[The feed comes on shaky and one handed -- it's clear the selfie mode was unintended, since the camera flicks off a moment later, but the moment that's captured probably says a thousand words on its own. Vash is carrying one of the zombie human-dog creatures over his shoulder and has another draped over his prosthetic arm, clearly bound up in ropes. There's a scratch on his cheek that's probably bleeding a bit more freely than it should be, and a few similarly concerning scratches on his chest and stomach.
But what he's really intending to broadcast becomes apparent shortly; several of them are set up on the floor against the dining table, where Qiqi is singing to them ... and they're clearly swaying to the music. At length, Vash speaks:]
Don't kill them. Please. They're not just mindless beasts.
[They're people. (Like Rolo was.) They deserve more than a simple unceremonious bullet to the brain, or to suffer yet more painful and violent deaths as people take out their rage and grief on them.
Even if he can't save them, he wants to help them.]

[ Well, he might as well give a shot at the low-hanging fruit of the bingo card, at least! Maybe he'll do some of the hard ones, if he's feeling it.
He's already started a new cell culture for a few fish-esque creatures, which is sort of a 'set it and forget it' situation; he'll consider them bingo-able when they're, say, minnow sized? But there's so much else to do, too. Let's not mention all the flour he's been doused in trying to make cake happen. Frosting is not his friend. ]
(This is Kuja's bingo card, and he's free to help with anything you gotta do for yours, just talk to me! I'll put some specific openers for bingo down below as I'm able to brain... espec for folks i can remember us talking about doing one together... if it slips my mind my apologies, i am Fog Brain )

[ However much he's changed, he retains a grimly pragmatic nature. He'd snatched up a good deal of red shards during the chaos, not sure what he was going to do with them. They're useful. Damned if he should be the one holding onto them with his proven hair-trigger for consigning reality to the void, but... he can't deny that.
You might be one of the lucky(?) people who Lark's left an unmarked package for, today, containing a few layers of wrapped cloth-- and inside, a handful or so of red shards. There's a simple card with only a single sentence included. ]
Do something good with these.
(if your character's either demonstrated a willingness in public to use gem shards as a resource OR talked about wanting to treat the gem remains with proper care... one of these could have come your way. this prompt's mostly here so people can pop in to say 'yeah i'll take one of those/they would've done that,' unless you have someone you wanna thread reacting to this somewhat grisly delivery with. )

That's how long he had to live as of his initial arrival to the Nest, and as of the very tail-end of this month, that would be how long it had been since he'd last died. It had snuck up on him, right up until the point he had the first-- well, it's not quite a blackout if you remember all of it. Maybe 'episode' was the better word.
His first episode, since January, of a soulless mind being there doing things in his body, himself not.
You might encounter him, during the next one. ]
