so I have taken three days off from work in order to hopefully finish the fence. I have two posts to set today and a lot of clearing to do and then I can pull the fenceing. this has proven to be a lot of work, what with the hill and the tons of rock in the ground. the rain isn't helping either, of course. I am very sore and tired, but I am doing better with the work than I was two weeks ago. onward.

oo, just had an idea: I think it would be cool to have 20, 50, 500 people listen to a certain piece of music and then post their impressions of it immediatley after, or during if it is long. for example, a group of people listens to "Passion" by Peter Gabriel at the same time (only for the added dimension of it) and then posts thoughts, impressions. but it needs to be something very open to interpretation. listening to Wiped Out and saying "It's got a cool beat to it" isn't what we're after.

hmm . . .

Isreali planes have been dropping leaflettes over two Gaza towns stating that the military will soon attack populated centers. what does that mean exactly? they are just going to start killing people randomly? drop a few bombs and see what shakes out, or roll in and kill everything in their path, as they provided warning? a soldier is kidnapped so the official response is to start mowing down civilians indiscriminately?

someone explain this. surely it's just a scare tactic, a psy-ops weapon. if they literally roll in and start mowing people down then I will have lost all respect for that governing body. socratic and I ended an i-friendship because I spouted some reactionary emotional shit about Isreal's policies, but this is really beyond comprehension.

I must be mistaken about what that means. someone explain this to me.

tonight we are going to go camping in the yard, sleeping in a huge tent that I bought at my great aunt's moving sale. this will be Ian's first time sleeping outside in a tent.

watched The Chronicles of Narnia tonight. good enough movie. a little lacking in blood considering the violence, but it is Disney.

I am addicted to the new Tool cd. can't stop listening to it. I am even going to make a cassette tape copy (yes, I have the technology) of it so I can listen to it in the truck between listening to it at home and at work all day.
