Dusty's Birthday

So yesterday was Dusty's 22nd Birthday! I think that he had a good birthday. He went ice fishing with some of his buddies and had fun. Later we had cake and icecream wiht our families. His cake of choice was a chocolate diet coke cake with pink frosting pink happy birthday writing and instead of candles saying 22 he wanted 69. That's my hubby for ya. He got good presents he got a knife set for hunting, an ice fishing pole, a wii, some aqua digio(my favorite). Any ways I am glad that he had a good birthday. Today is Lynzi's B-day. Happy B-Day. Love ya

Almost Here!

Yay! It is weird to think that Christmas is almost here. Crazy to think that a year ago me and Dusty had just got engaged. It seems that each year is going by faster and faster. Hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The Calling

So me and Dusty have been going to church. We have only been to our ward twice now. On Sunday we get there and a guy comes up to us and asks us if we could meet with the bishop after sacrament meeting and we said sure. Our sacrament was short because the heat was not working so after sacrament we went out into the foyer and waited for the Bishop. We get into his office and are talking and then they get to the point. They started joking with Dusty about callings so I thought he was going to get a calling. Then they say no we wanted to ask you if you would support your wife in a calling and he says SURE. So my first calling in the church is Achievement Days Assistant. I think it will be fun it could be alot worse.

Good Bye Ugly Wall

So Yesterday my Aunt Keri and her daughter Merritt came over and helped me paint the wall in my kitchen. I can't beleive how much better it looks. Merritt had a good idea to paint the inside of the arches in my house which look really cool. Keri also brought some old curtains from her house and helped me hang them in the living room. They look really good.
Dusty is getting excited because he is doing the late archery hunt that starts on Monday. He has been waiting for this for Months.
I also wanted to thank those of you who have been buying Scentsy from me it helps me out alot. I love the product and I love that you feel the same way. Thanks for all of your love and support.

Getting Used to the Family!

Yody is getting big and already knows how to sit and shake. He loves going out to the farm with Dust because he gets to play with Maggie and Baby Rose (Dusty's dad's dogs).
He loves is bed that we got him as you can tell. He is such a good dog.

Dusty elk

So I forgot to blog when Dusty got his elk. On opening days October 15th he and his brither-in-law Aaron went out to one of our favorite spots to hunt and they each got a bull elk. Dusty got a 5 point and Aaron got a 3 point and the same time which is pretty cool. I shot at a bull but never got one and almost shot at a deer but they ran off right when I was getting ready to shoot. Dusty took his elk to Dana's of Thayne and they do the best job. We have a lot of meat, but we didn't get a whole ton of jerky because it was to expensive. Yody is already growing and is very spoiled. He still whines when Dusty leave him. Hope that everyone is doing well.

Our Puppy!

What a week!

This week has been quite eventful the other day Dusty went hunting out by his farm and came home with a puppy. He is about 4 months old and we think he is a cross between a border collie and a black lab. He is a very good dog and is very timid. Dusty named him Yody because he found it by Coyote Knob. If Dusty leaves the room he isn't very far behind. He absolutely loves him.

The Weekend!

So this weekend was awesome!! We went to the Sanctuary Spa in the Gateway Mall. When you get there they have you get undressed and get into a robe and they take you to this dimly lit room so you can relax. Then they have people come was your feet. Then we went and got one hours massages and went back to the relaxation room. Then we got facials. Then we also got pedicures. Everything felt soo good. But my favorite was the massage!!! Thank you Lisa Lynzi and Rikki for taking me. We even went shopping afterwards. Which was of course fun. This was Rikki and Lynzi's first time away from their babies and I think that they thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe even a little too much and the kids did great with their dads so watch out Doug and Aaron you might get the kids a little more often!! J/K. This year was my best birthday. I got to go to a spa, hang out with both of my families, and eat better than sex cake. My job had a surprise potluck lunch for me and gave me a card that everyone signed and pitched in some money. It made me feel so good to know that people like me and care about me so much. Dusty gave me waterproof camos that I've been wanting forever. Now I won't freeze while he is all warm. I think he got them because next week is our Elk hunt that I am so excited for. I hope that I get one it would be so cool. Hopefully I see a huge one before Dust. If you spot one you get first Dibs. More than likely he will get a huge one and I'll get a tiny one. Oh well it's still an Elk which is awesome. I can hardly wait. Thank you to all who have done so much for me it means alot!!

Spa!!

So tomorrow is my 19th birthday. I am pretty excited. Dusty has to work so do I but we are going to go to lunch. After I get off work my family is coming up for dinner and cake YAY BETTER THAN SEX CAKE MY FAVORITE!!!! We are going to go to dinner at the mexican place YUMMY!!! It will be fun to see my niece and nephews. Then this weekend Dusty's mom and sisters are taking me to a spa in Salt Lake and we are getting facials, pedicures, and massages and going shopping and staying the night. I am way excited never had a facial before. Dusty is a little jealous but I told him he can go hunting all weekend and I won't get mad. Then on Thursday it is my dad's birthday and he will be 49 I still don't know what to get him he is the hardest person to buy for. I am sure I will come up with something.

Our New House!!

So a little over a month ago Dusty and I decided that we would like to look for a house. His mom is a realtor so she helped us out. We found this little two bedroom one bath house. It has a one car garage and an unfinished basement. We closed on and moved in on Friday. I was so Excited I could barely stand it. We have lots of plans for it in the future.

New Job!

Yay! I finally got a new job. I will be working for Med-ex Paramedical. I will be in an office working on the computer and being on the phone that's all I know for now. I am very excited. We are also buying a house. It is a two bedroom one bath and has a big backyard with an unfinished basement. We are supposed to close on it next friday and can start to move in as soon as we close.

Nothin' Much!

Not a whole lot going on in our lives. This last weekend we went to Bear World up by Idaho Falls. It's what Dusty's mom wanted to do for her birthday. It was cool the kids got to feed the baby bears. We also got to pet a moose and play with goats and baby and mommy deer. On the way home our car was being difficult. We have to get a new 02 sensor. I found out today that I didn't get the job with the eye doctor, so I am still looking for a different job. Hope everyone is doing good.

My Hubby!

This is for Dusty. I just want you to know how much I love you. I am so thankful for you and all that you do for me. Dusty just got a new job! He is working for Degestrom. He absolutely loves it. I am so glad that he likes it. Me on the other hand am in the process of finding another job besides the hospital. I am just having a really hard time working there. I don't like the way they do the schedule. It Sucks! I think I might have a job but not sure yet. Cross your fingers. Other than that I don't like my job Dusty and I are doing great!

Getting a Tattoo!

Don't worry I didn't get anything dumb written on my butt cheek. A little over a week ago I talked to a lady in Bear Lake that tattoos makeup on and I really wanted to do it, but I didn't want to do it by myself. So, I talked my mom into doing it with me. We had both talked about doing but never done anything about it. So, Monday night my mom and I got our eyeliner tattoed on. My mom went first so she wouldn't chicken out. She said that it didn't hurt at all. It looks awesome on her. I was last. I was a little nervous and mine hurt a little in the corners. The next morning my eyes were pretty swollen. But each day they look better and better. The bad thing is I can't wear mascara until saturday. So I still look odd. To myself at least. I am so glad that I did it. My mom is too.

Dusty getting charged with battery!

So the other night me and Dusty were laying in bed wathching TV. I gave him the remote and rolled over to go to sleep cuz I had to get up early the next morning for work. Next thing I know I'm listening to Kenny off of South Park. I hate that show. I told Dusty to change it. I told him that I couldn't fall asleep to that crap. We started fighting over the remote. He pretended like he was going to hit me with it. Well when he stopped in mid air the thing that holds the batteries in fell off and the next thing I know my head is bleeding. One of the batteries smacked me right in the forehead. Now I have a scab and a Bruise. The next day we went to his mom's and we were telling them what happened. His sister Lynzi popped up and said "Hey Melissa you can charge him with battary!" We lauged so hard. My head is still tender. One of the many storis of our life definitely one of the funniest!

Softball!

So me and dusty are on a co-ed softball team. I have never played before and our first game is tomorrow and we play two of the best teams. We are most likely going to get our butts kicked. I don't care if we win or lose I am playing just for the fun of it. We have been practicing alot so hopefully I won't make a complete fool out of myself. Wish me luck.

Working through the weekend!

Well all is good in the Ayers' home. I have to work all weekend long so I don't get to have a whole lot of fun. Dusty, his family and my family are all going camping together so they will have fun. I will go up after work for a while then come back to get up bright and early to go back to work.
Dusty isn't getting excited to go back to school. I am excited cuz I don't have to. It is kind of weird that I don't get to go school shopping and get pictures and notebooks. But I am glad.

Real Life Begins

Well we are home from our honeymoon and real life hits us. I am back to work at the hospital and Dusty is out to the farm.
Yesterday Dusty went to hunsakers chevrolet and traded in his gmc for an 2006 chevy colorado. I like it but i don't like the payments. His mom said she would help us while he is in school. Thanks Lisa!
Thanks to all of you who came to our wedding and helped out we greatly appreciate it.

Bedroom Set

We got our new bedroom set today. It looks so awesome. Thanks to grandma Verla and Grandpa Dale. Only 3 more days! We are starting to get nervous but are very ready for it to be over. We are way excited to go to San Diego. Dusty is excited for Saturday night at the Black Swan Inn. I'm excited for the jetted tub. Thanks to everyone who has helped us out.

Only 6 Days Left!

Wow! It's hard to believe that we are getting married in six days. I am very excited to be married and for a very much needed vacation from stress and work.
It still does not seem real to me yet it will all hit me at our rehearsal and I will probably cry like a baby. That's ok though because babies are cute.
Both of us are kind of scared to go to San Diego because we can't rent a car so we have to walk or take a bus everywhere. I am sure we will get lost a few times, but it will make it interestig.

It's Final!

WELL IT'S OFFICIAL I AM DONE WITH HIGH SCHOOL!

GRADUATION WAS SHORT AND TO THE POINT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE. EXCEPT IT WAS REALLY WARM. MY CANDY NECKLACE WAS A LITTLE MELTED WHEN I GOT OUTSIDE. IT IS STILL SURREAL TO ME THAT I DON'T START SCHOOL IN AUGUST. WHEN AUGUST HITS I THINK I WILL FINALLY HIT ME THAT I AM REALLY GRADUATED.

YESTERDAY MY MOM HELPED ME MOVE MOST OF MY STUFF INTO MY APARTMENT. WE DID ALOT OF CLEANING AND STILL HAVE MORE TO DO. IT IS EXCITING AND SCARY ALL AT ONCE.

DUSTY AND I ARE GETTING VERY EXCITED FOR OUR WEDDING ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT!!!!

GRADUATION!

WOW! IN A FEW HOURS I WILL OFFICIALLY BE A GRADUATE OF BEAR LAKE HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2008! IT SEEMED LIKE I WOULD NEVER GET OLD ENOUGH TO GRADUATE, BUT I DID. I AM SO EXCITED AND READY FOR IT TO BE OVER WITH. HIGH SCHOOL WAS FUN BUT I DON'T THINK THAT I WOULD EVER WANT TO GO BACK.

TOMORROW I AM MOVING TO SODA AND WILL LIVE IN THE APARTMENT THAT DUSTY AND I WILL BE LIVING IN WHEN WE GET MARRIED. I DIDN'T THINK I WAS GOING TO MOVE UNTIL THE WEEK OF THE WEDDING, BUT THE JOB IN SODA THAT I GOT I START TUESDAY AT 6 AM FOR 3 DAYS WITH ONE DAY OFF THEN GO BACK FOR 4 DAYS 2-10. SO I DECIDED I BETTER MOVE SO I DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE EVERYDAY.

IT IS WEIRD I AM EXCITED SCARED AND SAD ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

I AM EXCITED TO BE DONE WITH SCHOOL AND TO BE GETTING MARRIED.

LAST SATURDAY I HAD MY BRIDAL SHOWER IT WAS VERY FUN. I GOT LOTS OF GOOD AND FUN STUFF. THANKS TO THOSE OF YOU WHO CAME.
WEDNESDAY THE 14 WAS EVENTFUL I HAD TO GO TO THE ER FOR AN ALLERGIC REACTION. I AM NOT SURE WHAT CAUSED IT BUT I THINK STRESS HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT.
THIS WEEKEND WE ARE IN JACKSON AND GOING TO GO TO YELLOWSTONE WITH DUSTY'S FAMILY.

First of May Already?!

WOW I CAN'T BELIEVE IT IS ALREADY THE FIRST OF MAY. WE ONLY HAVE 45 DAYS UNTIL WE GET MARRIED. CAN'T WAIT. WE WILL BE VERY BUSY THIS MONTH GETTING EVERYTHING FINALIZED AND READY FOR THE BIG DAY. DUSTY IS ALMOST DONE WITH HIS FIRST YEAR OF WELDING SCHOOL AND HAS DONE WELL ALL YEAR LONG, BUT IS READY FOR A BREAK. I AM GETTING READY TO GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL ONLY 29 DAYS LEFT! YAY! EACH DAY I GET MORE EXCITED AND NERVOUS, BUT MOSTLY EXCITED.
