BYU Bowl Game

This year, BYU played in the Armed Forces Bowl Game at SMU, so we decided to go as a family and cheer on the Cougars!  We went with my cousin Summer and her family as well as our good friends the Empey's.  It was a perfect day- about 75 degrees and we all had a blast!

Ice Skating over Christmas Break

My parents came down to spend a couple of days with us after Christmas.  So, we took the boys ice skating.  They love ice skating and had a great time!

Christmas Eve

Making Gingerbread Houses
We have a tradition to make a gingerbread house every Christmas Eve.  This year, ours completely collapsed after we finished it.  Luckily, we had Grandpa Gee here to save it.  With a little surgery, he repaired our house and it actually ended up being our best house ever!

 Having fun making the house.

Galleria Christmas Tree

Another activity for our Advent Calendar, we went to the Galleria to see the enormous Christmas Tree there.  This tree is the largest artificial Christmas tree in the world.  It's three stories high.  It's awesome!

Boys would not cooperate getting a good pic- so this is what we got!

Carter wouldn't be in the picture, so we tried to get the older two and still no luck!

Happy 8th Birthday Landen!

I cannot believe Landen is already turning 8.  Time sure does fly.  In a few weeks, he'll be getting baptized.  I do not have a child old enough to get baptized!  (Denial!)  For his birthday this year, he got to have a friend party.  He wanted to have it at Chuck E. Cheese.  Fun times!  :)

Winter Basketball- Landen

Landen played basketball this winter for the 1st time.  Phil was his coach.  Landen did really well and had a great time playing.  He even likes it more than baseball.

Grapevine Christmas Lights Parade

This year, we decided to do a family Christmas Activities Advent Calendar.  So, every night, we do a Christmas activity together as a family.  To kick it off, we started out by going to the Grapevine Christmas Lights Parade.  It was a lot of fun!
