Now it feels like Christmas!

For me, it's not Christmas until I go to see the trains! There is a park called the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, in Scottsdale, that turns into a winter wonderland. They decorate the whole park with lights and different decorations. They have a mini train that takes you on a ride around the park to see all the festivities. They also have a carousel and different fun things to walk around and see. I highly recommend this place...especially if you have kids! They'll love it!

Our friends, Matt and Telicia, nicely accompanied us as one of our last activities before they leave us : ( They got a job offer, in Texas, and will be moving next month.

We sure will miss them!

Shannon's Baby Shower

This past weekend, one of my good friends and old roommate, had her baby shower. Just to clarify, she's the one in the black shirt (5 of the girls in this picture are currently pregnant!) It was so fun to get together will all these girls and reminisce about the days when all 7 of us lived in one little house together. Good times!

I, Ashley Bunker, have a problem.....

I've always heard that the first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. Then again, I don't think I want to recover from this problem. I have to admit that I get a little too carried away around this time of year. I am addicted to the cheesy Hallmark and Fa la la la Lifetime Christmas shows. I have already watched over 10 shows and it's only the 4th of December : ) I cannot get enough of them. The worst part is that the cheesier and mushier they are, the more I love them! My poor husband is about to go nuts cause it's 24-7 Christmas around our house. Oddly enough, he always seems to guess how they are going to end....which is weird cause they're not predictable at all : ) Anyway, here I am admitting to the world.....I am addicted to mushy Christmas shows and proud of it!

I LOVE Christmas! Have I ever mentioned that? If not, I LOVE Christmas! : )

WARNING...

Prepare yourself for a VERY long post (well a lot of different posts at least). I FINALLY got a computer so now I can post away. Unfortunately, since I had not had one for a while, I had some catching up to do. I will try to stay up to date from now on....enjoy!

HELP!

Is there a reason why my computer will not let me upload most of my pictures? I am using a Mac and it will only let me post one picture every now and again...hence why my posts are so far apart. It just says error over and over again. Anyone have advice on what could be the problem? Please let me know! It's really annoying!

Trying to Update....

I am in the process of trying to update but have been having some issues. My computer broke and Bryce's won't let me view my blog or post anything. I am just saying this to warn everyone in case my blog is a bit chaotic. Since I cannot view it, my background and colors might be a little all over the place. Bear with me...I will fix it as soon as I can.

For now, this is the only thing I could post. At least now my blog won't say I am a month behind! Anyway, this is my cute little niece who had her first dance recital a few weekends ago. She did so good and is getting so big!

Random events of the weekend

This weekend was Bryce's parents 40th High School Reunion from Westwood High. Bryce's dad was in a band, back in high school, and they were fortunate enough to meet back up to play at the reunion. It was so fun to see them all together, jamming out to the songs back from their high school days (we snuck in to watch). Unfortunately, these were the best pictures I could capture of my father-in-law. He is more of a behind the scenes guy so he hid in the back for most of the songs. Bryce and his mom had a ball dancing together on the dance floor! For those of you that know me, you know that I am the picture taker, NOT the dancer.

So our puppy has been in heat, this past week, so we decided to do some research. After locking her up all week, we found that they make puppy diapers! They come in different patterns and are so cute. I did feel bad but she was much happier being able to run around. She did have a hard time getting used to them. She never could quite figure out how to walk without waddling around.

It FINALLY came....and left for another year

Yes, I am talking about the NFL Draft. My husband has been talking about, studying and anticipating the draft since December of last year. Not including all of the pre and post game shows (which he did watch of course) all 7 rounds, of the draft, totaled about 15 hours. My dear sweet hubby did not miss a single one of those (your call on whether that is impressive or obsessive). Either way, he is a die hard sports fan and when Thursday, April 22nd finally rolled around, he lit up like a child during Christmas.

It's Hiking Season!

I got surprised, by this little fella, while out hiking a few weekends ago. He was not too happy to see us (hence the striking pose and rattling tail). Turns out that these snakes, Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes, are quite a dangerous breed! I have learned my lesson and will be much more cautious from now on.
