April felt all out of order in 2020. Life was completely different from anything we knew. The world as we knew it stopped moving. Schools and churches closed. People were encouraged to stay away from each other. It was weird. We still managed to have all sorts of fun and learn all sorts of things. We ended the month with Elizabeth's birthday. She was so excited to turn 5! Abigail took charge of decorating the room to celebrate Lizzie. We sure love being blessed to spoil our kids. Lizzie wanted to make her own cake this year. She chose rice krispies in the form of a guitar. She did an amazing job forming the guitar and decorating with frosting and sprinkles. We had fun drawing shadow art and then filling in the details inside (it was too hot to stay outside for the entire project). March Madness took on a whole new meaning in 2020. We started out by celebrating the wackiness of Dr. Seuss. Abby and Maggie dressed up as the Cat in the Hat and did their own face paint. Lizzie and Oliver could *obviously* not be left out of the fun. The face painting fun continued when we had Macy over to play. Wow, I tell you what...wow! Elizabeth continually impresses us with her mad skills. She loves to have her picture taken and is constantly posing and asking to be photographed. This particular photo shoot happened at a Chick fil-A while we were waiting for Bryan to be finished at the DMV (we had to drive him because he had recently had an out-patient surgery to remove cysts from his left elbow and right finger and wasn't yet ready to drive). We took some time in March to show our gratitude to others that help us strengthen our faith in Christ. We wrote letters to missionaries, family members, and Abby wrote a note to the prophet.
