We Bought a Pool!

How could we live in Texas and not have a kiddie pool?  Especially when I got it for dirt cheap!  (Gotta love those sales.)

Backyard Fun

We LOVE having a backyard to play in.  Is is so nice to be able to go outside and enjoy ourselves without having to go anywhere.  It's been a saving grace for me I can tell you that much.  Even though I still have to be outside with the kids, we sure enjoy ourselves.

Slip'n Slide Time

Wow!  I am seriously shocked by how much time has passed since I have blogged.  There is a reason for that.  One I will share later, but for right now, it's catch up time!

Sometime in June we went to Kelvin's parents house and had a homemade slip'n slide.  It was Lydia's and Jason's first time on a slip'n slide and Lydia was having a lot of fun.  Jason on the other hand wasn't so sure of it unless Daddy was holding him when he went down.  But there was a small sprinkler which he LOVED!!!

He would take the kids down with him and they really loved that!

Chilean Surprises!!!

In June, Maritza and Krystal went to Chile for 3 weeks!!!  We were all a little jealous but they got in some good family time and really enjoyed themselves.  Of course we got spoiled as usual.  Lots of amazing and fun things made their way from Chile, to us.  We couldn't be more thankful!

Two Little Monkeys

I love that my kids love each other and want to play together.  But it's always a little funny when they do random things like color on post-its under the desk!

First Splash Pad in Arlington

Since we live in Texas, the summers get a little toasty.  Sometimes the heat comes in quick, and other times gradually.  This year we have been blessed to have a mild summer, but that didn't stop us from cooling off at the splash park!  Arlington has some pretty fun parks and our ward's play group has been wonderful for us!!!

I had forgotten to buy her a swimsuit so we used her one from the last two years.  It was a little small but worked.  We went the next day and got her 2 swimsuits that would work for the next 2 years.

He looks mad in this picture but he was really just excited that the water had turned on and splashed him!

And of course, my kids will always migrate to the playground.  She has started to gain a love for the monkey bars.
