    Happy Thanksgiving! I so recommend a silent retreat for anyone within driving range of a monastery or convent!  The accommodations are austere, but it's amazing how much energy you spend saying things and listening to the things other people say.  Some tall stitching got done today!  I guess they're all things I'm thankful for ...
