First time with Snow

Enikele prides herself on being mature --  but even she couldn't resist a good snowball fight the first time she saw snow!

Fall in the Mountains

With winter coming up fast we decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather in the mountains one last time.  We did dutch oven at Lake Hill up Ephraim Canyon.  Eni even caught a fish!

random pictures...

And now for your enjoyment....a bunch of random photos from our very tame UEA vacation.  We were planning a trip to Durango but scaled back due to budgeting issues...aka fiscal responsibility.
We went to Cache valley and visited with Mom for a couple days.  Then spent a whole day working our way back home along the Wasatch front.  Sunday we went up Ephraim Canyon for a dutch oven dinner.  It was an eclectic and fun vacation!

Kissing on the A.  Touring USU campus was fun for the whole family.

We love to have dinner with friends. Especially friends that have twin babies the same age as our baby!

The Hill Aerospace museum is always free, and really cool!

Scheels is one of Michael's favorite places.  The place is like an amusement park disguised as a sporting goods store.

Ma

It is always so nice to visit Ma!  We went to Cache Valley for UEA weekend and spent a couple days with her.  She cooked for us, showed us her minerals, and played with the kids.  She know so many things and loves to share with the kids which makes her everyone's favorite.

Golf

This man loves to golf.  He bought a new glove at the beginning of this season, and look how worn it is now!  He stays in pretty good shape as well, because i told him he has to walk the course if he wants to have a season pass.  I am glad he has a healthy hobby.

Eni and Peter

Image
Eni and Peter have really grown to love each other.  Eni is always helpful with the kids when she sees a need.  It is so nice!

costumes

Jon and Carrie and the fam came for dinner and brought two buckets full of costumes!  We had a great time trying things on, and laughing at each other.  Now we are seriously ready for Halloween.

Every molly Mormon mom needs some sexy red boots....right?

Jon look says it all -- those horns look too real!

Even Mike tried on a costume.  It was a miracle; he hates Halloween.

Football Fans

My guys are awesome football fans.  They lasted the whole game, and cheered their guts out at every touch down.  I think they are going to like high school in a few years!

Ball Boy

I know I'm biased, but... PETER IS THE CUTEST BABY EVER!!!

Rail Racers

Image
Josh and his little gang (the rug rat pack) have invented a new game with legos.  They call it rail racing.  Each boy designs and builds a racing vehicle designed to slide down the hand rail.  The racer that goes the farthest before falling off and breaking to pieces wins!

Caitlin - princess ballerina

Caitlin has started a ballet class.  She loves it! She was feeling shy when I took these pics, but most of the time she listens and dances just like the teacher.  I am sure her favorite part of the whole process is wearing pretty pink clothes!

Grand Arches Adventure -- Day 2

After our first day we had dinner in Moab at a fabulous little Mexican Restaurant, then went back to our camp site on the river.  Eni had never camped before, but was a good sport.  She loved the fire best of all.  And the miracle was that Grandma even camped with us.  Day two started with breakfast, and then off to the park again.

Image
We started the day at the visitors center.  Josh and Andrew like to do the Junior Ranger program at all the parks we visit, and this was no exception.  Here they are getting their badges.

Image
The ranger here gave the boys extra special attention.

Image
Eni wanted a badge too, so I made her go through the whole program, including taking the pledge to protect the park.

 Hiking Landscape Arch

 Awesome Joshua

hey look...another great "family" photo with Daniel!

Image
 Hey look!  another one!

Image
Arches really is spectacular and beautiful.  It makes for some great photo ops.

Image
At the end of a long day of hiking.  The babies totally gave out, and Mike and I were content and tired.  I love this picture.  We look ragged, but happy.

Image
Playing in the beautiful sand below sand dune arch.  We all went barefoot and played like we were at the beach.  It was the perfect way to end our Arches adventure.

Grand Arches Adventure -- Day 1

I am so glad we went on our Arches trip when we did!  Thanks to our government, not everyone is so lucky to see the national parks now.  Anyway, enjoy the pictures of our grand Arches Adventure.

Image
Mike and Me under the breathtaking Delicate arch.  The hike was long and a bit strenuous, but everyone made it.  Even grandma!  It is such an amazing sight to come around the corner and see the arch.

Image
 Woohoo!  Arches!

Image
Mike and the kids were like mountain goats on the rocks.  Peter and I stayed behind to take pictures...

Image
What's wrong with this family picture?  Not the right Man!  Every time Mike takes pictures, everyone jumps in...including Daniel.  As a result, I have lots of "family" pictures with all of us and Daniel instead of Mike.  It's getting kind of funny.  People on the trail kept assuming we were together as well, especially since Caitlin spent the majority of the time on Daniel's shoulders.  I guess Mike should stick a little closer when we take Daniel with us!

Grandma and Peter stealing a special moment.

Me taking a break with my little guy.  The rock was so cool and relaxing.

Image
 Handsome little devils!

Image
This was Peter's main mode of travel.  I have been carrying babies around in this carrier for almost 11 years now.  It has seen some great places.

Image
Eni the beautiful taking in the wonder of southern Utah.

Image
This is on the trail to Delicate Arch.  Everyone is armed with their bag of gorp - peanuts, raisins, and M&Ms.  Grandma Jan got us hooked on the stuff, and now we can't go hiking without it.
