This is one of my best friends in the world.  Andrea and I met in high school and have been really close ever since. Love her and her beautiful family!

Halloween and Sorensens

We love the Sorensens! We are all best friends from oldest to youngest. We recently went to a Halloween party together. Caitlin and spencer just happened to be the devil and an angel so we had to pose with them on Roberts shoulder. So cute!

Joshua is the grim reaper this year. Super spooky with glowing eyes. 

I have always called my kids things 1--4.  This year Andrew and Lincoln really are dr. Seuss' things. 

Halloween 2014

Fall orchestra concert

Joshua plays the cello. It as so fun to go to his concert and hear him play with the middle school orchestra. He is a great musician!

Halloween recital

Josh and Andrew are both doing so well with piano. We had a Halloween recital Saturday and both boys did very well. Ian proud of these little musicians!

Care Center project

We have a full fledged landscaping business up and running now. We just finished our largest project to date - the nursing home in Centerfield. It looks so nice! I  am proud to have it represent the name of Barlow Landscape and Design. 

Best mother-in-law ever!

This is my mother in law Karma. She is the most selfless person I have ever met. She always takes care of others and is the best Italian cook too!  I am so blessed to have a mother-in-law that is also one of my best friends.

Uea weekend was a hoot. We visited to BYU campus with our buddies the scanlons Thursday and saw all the museum exhibits and visited the creamery. Friday we laid 6000 sq ft of sod at our lSt landscaping job of the season. Yay!  By Saturday we were tired and sick of working so we took a fun day in ephraim to bowl and eat shakes it was a great and eclectic UEA vacation!

I love this silly guy!  Andrew always brings out my best smiles and gives me lots of love.  I love how his teeth are growing in!  He is a ray of sunshine!

Capmping with Barlows

Michael's brother Tony and his family are totally awesome.  They always do such fun trips - their lives are never boring!  We went camping with them down in southern Utah a couple weeks back and had a great time!  We hiked a slot canyon, rode dirt bikes, enjoyed Shelly's mutli-colored camp fires, played in the dunes with cousins, hiked through goblin valley, and Josh even repelled into the goblins lair with Tony and his boys. We finished it all up with burgers and shakes at Tony's favorite restaurant. It was a great weekend!

Peter

Peter is growing into the most adorable toddler.  He is officially able to go to nursery now, which makes Sundays so much easier!  He loves to climb everything, and is always guilty of feeding the dog at dinnertime.  He loves his red wagon, baths, and cuddling with mom.  And as for speaking, he has hardly any vocabulary at all.  I supose he figures there is so much talking going on from the rest of us he shouldn't bother!

Summer Vacation!!

Well it is official!  Summer is here!  On the last day of school Joshua and Andrew and all their friends brought their final assignments and workbooks over for a bonfire.  They had so much fun tearing and burning their school work!  After the destructive energy was spent, we roasted marshmallows on the coals.  I think it was a very good way for the kids to launch their care free summer vacation!

Sunshine

This is Sunshine the canary.  I just got her last week.  I have been wanting to get a canary for a while now, to put in the beautiful cage Dad made before he left on his mission.  It's a great reminder of Dad!  Sunshine is energetic and not shy at all.  She loves to sing, especially to Peter.  She really is a ray of sunshine in our house.

Spring Piano Recital

We just had our spring piano recital.  It is so nice to have the piano year finished up!  Joshua and Andrew both played two songs, and performed very well. They both worked very hard and improved their skills a ton.  What awesome little musicians!

Spring Dance Recital

Caitlin just finished her first year of dance.  There was a spring recital last week and she did such a good job!  Andrew dances as well at the same studio and he is a rhythm master.  I love watching him do his routines because he has such awesome enthusiasm.  Now we take a summer break, and back for more next year!

Mayday

Every year at the close of the school year Gunnison Elementary puts on a May Day celebration.  Each class in the elementary does a dance and the whole school sings some songs.  the 4th graders always do the maypole.  This year Andrew did a square dance, and Joshua didi a futuristic dance to a funky spider song.  I always enjoy Mayday - the kids in this valley are exceptional and I am glad that our family gets to be a part of it.
