I chopped my hair! Still trying to decide if I like it or if I just feel middle aged. Either way it's fun to try something new every once in a while.
Short haircuts and cute smiles.

Josh loves animals. He takes care of Jeri every day come rain or shine. We went to see some cute little puppies and Josh couldn't cuddle enough. It was hard for him to walk away- but we just aren't ready for a new puppy now.
This year for the Halloween piano recital we had a party. We played minute to win it games, performed our pieces, and had cookies and witches brew. It was a fun and low pressure evening that I think the students enjoyed.
A magician came to Gunnison and put on a great family friendly show at the theater. After the show he let the kids hold his animals. Fun for Andrew!
We just can't let go of those Sorensens. We went to Phoenix to visit over the UEA break. Porter got baptized while we were there. We also had lots of fun swimming, playing at the park, and visiting the train museum.
I've been helping with the middle school musical for two years now. It has become one of the favorite things I do! This year we put on The Wizard of Oz. I worked mostly on set, props, directing and a little costuming. Here are the apple tree costumes.
This was the great and powerful oz
Lots of love from the cast and co-directors.
Mrs. Hill has directed the musical for 15 years. She is retiring and leaving it in my hands. Here's to next year.
Peter took a big fall right on his forehead so we all decided to take goofy selfies to make him laugh.
Peter settled down, and the rest of were in a much better mood!
Here are some pics of the Hardy landscape project we finished up in early autumn. It turned out beautiful!!!
Strangest thing just happened. We were having blts for dinner. Mike moved the griddle and dumped hot grease all over the kitchen floor. So we spent 15 minutes cleaning that up. Then Peter went to the potty. A few minutes later he came to Mike saying the pee wouldn't stop coming. He then grabbed a tissue - yes a tissue and ran for the bathroom. Mike, feeling curious followed him to see what on earth he was talking about. Sure enough the toilet was flowing all over the floor and out into the hall. We had an inch of water and Peter was attacking it with a tissue!
I called "all hands on deck" and all of us soaked up water with every towel we own. Think it's over? No! Mike, attempting to fix the toilet, flushed it again and a couple more gallons of water gushed onto the floor. It was a triple wammy! One more clean up later we decided to bag it all. We left dinner on the table, a mountain of wet towels in the tub, and went to the movies. It can all wait till we get home!
Caitlin and I love to spend extra time on Sundays to get pretty. She loves the attention and mom time.
My little man makes me so happy. Here are some selfies for your enjoyment :)
I can't believe this little man is almost four. How the time flies.
Peter loves to help me cook. Of course he always gets to lick the spatula. He also is obsessed with trains and cars. Typical boy.
I promise this photo was not staged! I laughed when I walked in and. No realized these two were mirror image and didn't even know it. How is that for family resemblance!?
Grandpa Jaussi and grandpa Jan own a little farm in Utah County. They called a family party/ work day to take down two enormous elm trees. The men did all the work while the women and kids sat a safe distance and had a grand time cisiting and watching. It was a beautiful and exciting day.
I've made friends with a few of the dance moms at the local studio. We like to go and visit with eachother while the kiddos dance. One thing we all have in common is an obsession with Doctor Who. It's fun to chat all things "Doctor" with these fun gals!
Mike and I celebrated out 15th anniversary on the big island of Hawaii. What an amazing trip! We swam with dolphins and sea turtles, visited amazing archaeological and historical sights, and basked in the beauty all around. We stayed in an open air cottage right by the bay. It was very romantic and memorable.
