Max Steele Peters joined us at 11:27 Tuesday evening. He weighed in at a respectable 7.5 lbs, and spanned 19.5" long. Mom and Dad arrived at the hospital about 1 hour prior to delivery (not bad timing-if I do say so myself...yes, Barney is writing this).

Mom and Max are both feeling well, and we're all happy to have the family under one roof. Little man squeeked quite a bit last night, so Mom had a rough time sleeping. But all is well, everyone's healthy, and we feel greatly blessed.

I'll not make any promises, but I will try to keep the blog more up to date...

Oh, and lest any of you were wondering...we plan on making this blog a private affair, sorry to any creepy people wanting to check out our lives. And, of course, all you friends and family will get VIP access, let us know (comment/email) if you're interested.

(Just a little reminder from my crazy 4-year-old that being a mom is so worth it! And I love that he says it so matter of fact.)

Better late than never

Okay, so it took me a while to post Halloween. It is still before Thanksgiving. I found a Superman costume (complete with muscles) for Clark and he was thrilled when it came in the mail. Lexi loved her butterfly costume. The first time she wore it, she screamed at Barney when he took it off to put her in her carseat. Have I mentioned how sassy she is? She is becoming very opinionated in her old age, but she so cute so we put up with the sass.

Great grandma has everyone over for pizza before trick-or-treating. It is a fun tradition that we all enjoy. Thanks Grandma! We gathered the cousins for a picture after dinner. Lest you think Jake went out naked, he did have a shirt on for the rest of the night;) Carter, Clark, & Kali out collecting their spoils.

Did you miss me?

I'm back! Where have I been you ask? No where...just a lazy blogger. My sister can't remember what my kids look like so I promised her a blog within the week. Kristen, this is for you...and Mema. I've been gone too long to recap everything, but here are a few recent highlights for you all to enjoy.

She may look like she loves food, but looks can be deceiving. In reality, she spits and cries when I feed her. She sure takes a cute picture though!

On halloween we're gone most of the night and get very few trick or treaters when we are there (3 this year). This year I decided not to buy candy and to hand out granola bars. I guess Clark thought since Lexi could have rice cereal, she should be able to enjoy as many bars as she could hold.
