Kurt LOVES to read. One of his favorite books right now is called Alphabetics by Suse McDonald. It is a book with the alphabet (obviously) and transforms each letter into something beginning with that letter. For instance, the letter "F" turns into a fish. And the letter of importance for this post is the "O" - it becomes a pair of eyes on an Owl.
Anyway, so today, he picked up another book called "First Words." And he got really excited and came up to me pointing at something on the cover and saying "who-who-who-who." I didn't know what he was saying so I asked him to show me again and he pointed to the "o" in the title "wOrd" and said "who-who-who."
So basically, I think he's pretty smart. He recognized the letter "O" and remembered the picture that goes with "O" - the owl. (He doesn't really call animals by name, he tells you what sound they make). He amazes me everyday with his intelligence. He always seems so much older than 18 months.
(He can also pick out the letter "B." Whenever he sees one he gets really excited and screams "be, be, be!" Is that how you'd spell the letter B?)
