City High Homecoming Parade

The boys were very excited once we arrived at the parade. Kurt didn't really remember what a parade was until we got there.

I love making fun holiday treats! Kurt likes to eat the candy.

Stitches

He obviously wasn't in the mood for me to be snapping his picture, but I have to document everything... just a slight slip of the drill, some blood, 6 stitches, about 2 days off the piano. THANK GOODNESS!

BBQ?

These boys have their own ideas of what we eat at a BBQ...

Metamorphosis

I guess we didn't get any pictures of the beginning stages, but Brandon found a caterpillar. So we caught it, fed it, then it wrapped up in a coccoon and we waited and waited and waited. It was exciting when it came out and we got to let it go.

"Uglies"

These tomatoes were so ugly (this shows their pretty side), but they tasted so good! I made salsa with this batch.

Pufferbilly Days (Boone, IA)

We spent way too much time at the actual "Pufferbilly" days part of things and not enough time with the actual trains. The boys LOVED this part of Boone.Image

Hammin' it Up

He's been a camera ham lately. He poses when we say cheese and puts on his biggest grin. (I was baking and he wanted to wear an apron too. He wouldn't wear the kiddie ones - insisted on wearing Brandon's. I had to tie it and fold it and wrap it...)

Leo Shoes

He's been so excited about his new "Leo" shoes. He loves to wear them all over the place, all the time, even if he's only in his whities.

Apple Harvest Carnival

The library had another fun storytime. A representative from a local apple orchard came and taught them about a few different kind of apples, we read stories about apples, eat the apples and play games.
A Luke sized basketball hoop - he loved it! Again, wasn't much in the mood to share.
