Graduation

Did I mention that we drove to Iowa to walk at graduation?  It was a super quick trip, with 2 very long drives to get these pictures.  We hope you enjoy them!

This is Brandon's mentor, Dr. Huckleberry.  We were all trying to keep the boys occupied for the 3 hour ceremony so Dr. H was making faces at them.  I told Kurt to do the "neener neener" face (stuck out tongue, fingers waggling in ears...) and this was his reaction.  The boys found it quite humorous.

We stopped just into Iowa for a potty break and the rest stop attendant told us about a baby owl out in the back.  I ran to get my camera and was able to get a few shots of it before it hid.

Bear World

Kurt's kindergarten got to go on a field trip to Bear World!  And lucky for Luke, they invited him to come along since he's been an honorary part of their class all year. :)

As you go inside you see this.  Funny huh?

We're pretty excited as we start through the park.

Then we hit the fun bears

Then we got off the bus to check out the petting zoo.

Then we got to see the baby bear cubs

They were past "snuggling" age, so we couldn't go inside the enclosure, but they did get to pet a bear
