Bases: Usually each member applies their own set of rules according to what they're posting. Please respect and follow them. If a member asks for credit and you're unsure how to give keyword credit, please read these instructions.
The bases taken from this community are for use in your personal journal or are to be used as icon making resources for your community. They are not to be reposted as bases by anyone other than their original maker.
Posting: When posting bases please make sure they are no larger than 100x100, are free of text and animation and are in jpg, gif or png form. When posting more than three icons, please use an lj-cut tag. Zip files are allowed as long as you also post the bases individually so that members aren't forced to download just the zip. It would be helpful if you include the subject(s) of your post either in the subject line or in the post itself so they we can tag them accordingly. Any bases containing adult or questionable material should always be placed behind a cut.
Please do not post two or three bases and then redirect members to obtain more or comment elsewhere. Simply put, no fake LJ cuts. Post To The Community. Please refrain from blatant promotion/advertising. You may include a simple LiveJournal link to your icon/base related community (in moderation) with your regular base post but please no large banners or recruitment.
Requests: We do accept requests for particular subjects but not for customizations. Requests are only to be made in the designated "requests" post. That post is always linked on the sidebar of our layout under Navagation. Requests are voluntarily filled by members, so although we cannot promise your request will be filled, we will definitely try. If your request is filled you are required to leave a comment, therefore acknowledging it was filled. A simple "Thank you" will do. If you fail to leave a comment you will no longer be allowed to make requests. Saying nothing makes you come across as ungrateful and frankly, rude.
Management: We reserve the right to delete any posts necessary, decline membership, as well as ban any member without question for not following these rules. If your post disappears, do not repost it immediately. Read the community rules, find out which one you didn't follow and repost your entry correctly.
Concerns regarding the community should be addressed via community email. Please do not contact the Moderators at their personal journals. Thank you for taking the time to read and follow these rules.
