Its Been A Little While

Man, its been a long time since I last posted. Well lets see, I've been up to a lot of stuff. My school year just ended on Thursday and I am so glad its over. Next year I'm going to be a Junior and am trying to graduate early. I had to send in a request and I guess its still in motion so I have no idea what's going on yet. I played football this year for my school and had a blast. I was a running back and outside linebacker. It was a lot of fun. I am seriously thinking about playing again this year. I have been the teachers president in church for the last 6 months and have really enjoyed it. With the scouts I have snowboarded for the first time and loved it so much I went again and can't wait for the winter so I can go again. Right now we are doing water sports and yesterday I was able to get up on the wakeboard for my first time. It didn't last long, but I was at least able to get up. I've been spending a lot of time working around the house for the past month. Let's see I've helped finish the stairs, sand the deck, stain the deck, paint the bathroom and kitchen, and tilling the garden. Besides all that I've been spending a lot of time with my friends so far. Yesterday we went boating and had a lot of fun. I just got my boating license and drove the boat for a little while. It was a lot of fun. Scout Camp is coming up on Saturday and its going to be a lot of fun because I'm planning it so I can be with my friends most of the time. Man, I think this covers most of my life for the past months, I don't know I might be forgetting stuff (very probable). I wonder if I'm going to actually post regularly now (I'll at least try!!!)

Pitiful

I have been sitting here for a long time just thinking on what to blog. I haven't come up with a single idea. My life is just so boring it is pitiful. So I guess I'll give you some boring details that have happened recently. I just got being over sick, and I missed the whole last week of January because of it. It stunk really bad. I was so bored yet I felt horrible. Another thing is that Noah and I played paintball with some of the youth in our ward. It was really fun. Thank you Halley and Ryan for inviting me to play when you guys came out! Well there it is, my boring life. PITIFUL!!!!!

Stuff That's Been Happening

Well, starting Tuesday of last week, MIDTERMS STARTED:(. I was very disappointed. But today was glorious, I took the last test of the midterms. So I got those out of my hair and can start getting ready for the End of Course Assessments. On Friday/Saturday, there was a freeze out. My dad, noah, zane, and I went on a 1.5 mile (one way) hike up a mountain called mt. tippet with our ward. It was very cold but fun. The way up was a little more challenging than the way down, but it truly wasn't that hard. The other three would probably disagree with me. My dad was huffing and puffing, zane was whining, and noah was whining a little bit. I stayed with my family because I knew they would need help (Me and my dad carried the extra stuff that the boys couldn't carry.... a whole lot of stuff). We ended up taking a lot of breaks and were the last ones both up and down. They were all saying that we wouldn't do it again, but I think I might. On the way down, we found a clearing a played paintball. My ward is really into paintball and it was a blast. When we finished up it stared freezing raining on us (excuse the wrong term). It was very slippery on the way down. Everybody but my dad slipped and fell. Overall it was a very fun trip.

Where is the SNOW?????????

This year has been a total letdown with the snow. I was really looking forward to the snow this year and nothing. The WEST coast gets it and that is rare. We at least get a little bit and nothing this year except inches and inches of rain. It has probably rained everyday for two weeks. IT'S RIDICULOUS.

Turkey Bowl

Today my dad, noah, zane, and me went to the Turkey Bowl. The Turkey Bowl is something that the two wards in the church building do. We all get together and play football (two hand touch sometimes). Last year it was really fun because the smaller peoples got the ball more. This time wasn't as fun. Whoever was the quarter-back passed to basically his own ward more and our QB was the other ward. It was still fun though. We just got back and are very sore from running for about two hours straight. Can't wait till next year!

Paintball

Yesterday, Uncle Lincoln, Justin, Chancy, Halley, Ryan, McKay, Ceci, my dad, and I all went paintballing. It was really fun. The only downside to it is that when (not if) you get hit, it hurts. After the game was over, I was a proud owner of 4 or more welts. Everybody was amazed by one of mine until McKay stole the spotlight from me :). His dad had told him he had 10 seconds to run until he got shot. McKay took off running and 10 seconds later (counting fast), he got shot and was a proud owner of a welt that almost broke his skin with 2 or 3 layers. It was a really fun day though and it has encouraged me to want to play more!
