it's a BEAUTIFUL monday and it's finally beginning to feel like summer for me here in cedar city. the sky is blue, the red mountains are spectacular, plans for BBQ's and trips to the reservoir are in the works and i hope to buy a watermelon and eat it on the front porch. the utah summer games begin this week--meaning that cedar city suddenly becomes a thriving metropolis. i'm staying busy and making my days more productive, which must be aiding this sudden renewal of energy i'm feeling. thank goodness for that. did i really need a whole month to recover from the semester? (answer:yes i did).
