Diem is a happy, playful, drooly girl. She loves to eat fingers, toes, and baby food.

Her eye color is still a mystery and as you can see from the pictures

prefers a sideway view of the world.

We love, love, love this little girl.

DIEM'S Nemesis

Your first thought is probably nox noctis {night}.

But this is not a story about opposites. It is a bittersweet tale of Diem's clash with a tree.

Diem really likes the tree on her play mat. She enjoys the bright green color,the crinkly paper noise it makes, and its delicious taste {I assume this fact because it is always dripping with her drool}.

So why would something she loves so much be her nemesis?

Well, it is stitched to the play mat. And no matter how hard Diem tries {she is very persistent} the tree will not come along with her everywhere she rolls. This has caused her to express an emotion we have not yet seen-frustration. Oh boy, does she get mad. She squeals and cries, tries to eat it and pull it off, and squeals and cries some more.

baby DiEm

We had a fun weekend in Las Vegas cheering on the Utes and hanging out with family. Thanks to Colin, Nancy and Elliott for letting us crash at their place. I showed no self control at H&M and bought way to much for Diem, I guess a girl can never have enough clothes. I forgot to pack the camera, along with many other things... so I don't have proof that our mini-vaca was fun filled you'll just have to trust me on that one.

And what can I say about Diem except she is the best. All you parents now how I feel. She is just busy being a cute, little baby. She rolls all over, plays with her toys, drools all over everything, tells very long and loud stories, laughs, sleeps well and eats well. She still looks like her daddy with her mom's eyebrows. We love our baby Diem.

I've been having a hard time capturing her smile in photos. When ever I get the camera out she is determined to find a way to grab it and stick it in her mouth.
"Get in my mouth, camera!"

It's Monday and time for a new post.

Diem loves being around her buddies Grady and Teagan. I can't wait until she can wrestle around with them.
Elliott came to visit. We can't wait to go visit her in a couple weeks.
