I'll do anything for free stuff

So in my haste I jumped the gun on my previous post. There are certain requirements you have to complete in order to qualify for the free offer from Shutterfly (see previous post). The post has to be at least 200 words long (1).  You have to include 3 links to stuff you like on Shutterfly (2).  You have to promote your post on spaceface or twittbook (3). And you have submit a form when you're done (4). Not as cool as I thought, but as the title says: I'll do anything for free stuff.

We are going to get Christmas photo cards from this promotion. The holiday cards are also nice. Maybe some day we'll have enough money to buy a photo calander. I think Shutterfly is pretty savvy for offering stuff like this because the average family that takes advantage of this offer probably gets the 50 free cards and purchases an extra 50. Once they've got us hooked, they know we'll be back every year at Christmas cards and every time there is a major event (baby, graduation, marriage, etc.). If I had any money I'd probably go buy their stock. Thanks for reading this far folks!

Christmas Cards

Juli and I have wanted to do Christmas cards every year since we' got married, but never have (due to time and the green stuff that doesn't grow on trees). Thanks to this special offer from Shutterfly, we will finally get some cards out this year. You see, Shutterfly is offering 50 cards for free -- all you have to do is blog about the offer from your non-privatized blog. Thanks Shutterfly!

As a devoted follower of my lame blog you also get an offer in conjunction with this post. Get me your address (in comments, email, text message, etc.) and we'll send you one of our newly acquired cards if/when they get here.

This one's for you Nate!

There, I changed the title for you. Kisses,

Brian

P.S.- I might be back later this week to write an actual post. Maybe.

Learning

This week I finished my first year of classes in graduate school. Things have been going well and I feel like I'm learning and growing quite a bit. Here is one of my favorite quotes:

"Excellence and learning are not commodities to be bought and sold at the corner store. Rather they dwell among rocks hardly accessible, and we must almost wear our hearts out in search of them."
