Other I'm playing him as having had lifelong exposure to... crystallized evil/dark magic/the tortured souls of the damned. BUT! IT'S INCIDENTAL and more like radiation than personal involvement. So it should barely register, if at all. I just decided he has an eensy bit more tolerance to Evil Presences and so on.

- +500 tsundere about Teito and Mikage BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND AS A UNIT
- GOSH apparently these feelings of inadequacy have been pretty consistent historically
- HOW DOES I HAVE FRIENDS AND MAKE PEOPLE PAY ATTENTION TO ME ;; oh I was so lonely
- Kokuyou and Karein know me and take care of me a little TOO well ;///;
- OTHERWISE, he already knows all the stuff about being childhood friends with Mikage, and being depressed over his death and so on, so that extra stuff is not really a surprise.

Shuri's Fakeheart
Feb. 24th, 2012 01:24 amYou find yourselves in a classroom, seated in the students' desks. A few other seats in the first three rows seem to be in use--but conspicuously, no one is sitting there. There is a teacher's desk in the front, and a blackboard behind it with writing on it. There are doors on the left and right, and behind you, on the high level of the room, there are three doors: bright Carnelian orange, polished oak, and Sterling silver.
The lights in here are also intensely bright--and flickering, constantly, casting the room rapidly between dark and blinding.

This is an implied/offscreen memory. Karein mentions that Shuri became depressed after he learned Mikage died; this memory is... just that. THE MEMORY OF BEING DEPRESSED because holy shit my ex-friend is dead ._. and we never re-became-friends. (The story is that Mikage died in a hawkzile accident, ftr, so if anything that's what he remembers.)

Even Shuri is confused as to how he managed to pass and become part of the Black Hawks like this, especially if the Black Hawks are the elite. He's become pretty jaded about his memories being unexpectedly horrible though so. sobbbb :(
Also Teito Klein is in this memory again too. I guess he maybe saved my life ._. but whatever he still hates my guts probably

Skill 7 - High school-level education
Jan. 8th, 2012 04:30 pmAT LEAST I PRESUME that the Academy still teaches regular school stuff up to a high-school-ish level. Point is Shuri gets good grades and I highly doubt that's with combat ability/knowledge alone, so I assume he is also decently proficient in math etc. (Actually I'm not sure many other subjects will be very helpful what with the difference between worlds, but hey.) He might have been privately tutored in some things too :B RICH NOBLE FAMILIES!! Basically, Shuri is an EDUCATED YOUNG MAN, and this also unlocks his aptitude to being studious and retaining information like that, whether or not he ever wants to use it.
ALSO PSA: I will be sharing this journal with CFUD so I will try to backdate memory/skill posts/etc. in the future. ONCE I ACTUALLY START POSTING CFUD STUFF IN THIS JOURNAL MAYBE I WILL GO BACK AND TAG EVERYTHING AS ONE GAME OR THE OTHER BUT /handwave
