Happy Birthday, Daddy!!!

The Family got together at Jim nd Nick's for Daddy's 52nd birthday! We had so much fun. Our cousin's, Casey and Jacob work there, so it was nice to get to see them. We laughed and had such a good time!!! It was really funny because even though it was supposed to be Daddy's big day, it turned out that Levi was the center of attention. The hostess that sat us down wouldn't leave Levi alone, then, the waitress, then they brought friends over. They kept coming over again and again. It was hilarious, because Jill was getting so nervous when they started picking him up and teling us they were gonna steal him away. It was so great. Here are some pictures from the afternoon.Image

Christmas Recap!

Christmas was so awesome this year. I believe it was one of the best yet. Hanging out with family and friends, sharing laughs, singing carols, playing games, and eating good grub! There isn't one thing that stuck out overall, just a good time of the year. Here are some photos of the fun I had...

"We Help Our Mom Bake Cookies..."

My Mom is so good in the kitchen. Every year she makes Christmas candy to take to friends and parties she will be attending. So this year, I decided that I wanted to give my co-workers candy for Christmas. Jill joined in the fun and we had a blast.

Jill took a break from the madness. I had found some old home videos upstairs, so we watched them as we worked. We laughed our heads off!

CALIFORNIA...here she comes!!!!!

So, my best friend, Blair, is moving to a land far, far, away called CALIFORNIA!!!! I am so proud of her for following her dreams and doing what she feels the Lord is leading her to, BUT I AM GONNA MISS THAT CRAZY HEAD!!!! Monday night she came down with a few of our gal pals and we had us a freakin awesome time. Here is a few pictures from that wonderful night.

We had so much fun. Leave it to a bunch of girls to hit Mexican and Waffle House in the same night! We just didn't want the night to end. We started on Twilight, talked about God, and then we came full circle by relating our Faith to situations and characters from the book!! How hilarious:) I love you girls- thanks for a great night!

Double the Pleasure... Double the Fun!

I just finished reading the Twilight series for the second time- AND watched the movie twice. I still love it just as before. I shut the book and found myself trying to talk myself out of starting all over again! I think I should start a Edward Annonymous group for me and my friends, but who would help us?!? I would be like the weak trying to help the weak. I am totally obsessed!
If i was still thirteen, I would get a poster for my wall and this would be it...

Oh well! Since it is Christmas time I thought I would write a Christmas list (inspired by Jill's flair!!)
Dear Santa,
For Christmas this year I want an Edward Cullen. That's all.
Thanks,
Beth

Bring on the Merriment!!!

This post is more of a declartion, a venting of sorts-
Okay... for those of you who know me even a little, you will know that I have gotten a reputation of being very UNjolly around Christmas time. Yes, I hate decorating the house and the yard and the rush, rush, rush of the holiday. BUT can i just say-

I AM NOT A GRINCH!!!!

Actually, I am looking forward to Christmas this year. I have been trying to ignore the fact that Christmas has been on the Walmart shelves since October, and that I had to decorate two Christmas trees, and the Christmas music I have been listening to in the office since Thanksgiving. I understand the reason for my displeasure with the holiday is the fact that it is started way to early. Too much of a good thing is definitely just that- TOO MUCH! So I decided that in order to enjoy this time of year, I was gonna celebrate when the day was actually on the horizon. So 15 days of Christmas sounds pretty good. Next week I am going to make Christmas candy with my mom, I put some of my favorite Christmas songs up on the blog, and am gonna go do some holiday shopping. I have alsways loved the coming together of family and friends. That is actually the best part. So- no more of this "Beth hates the holiday" crap! I love Jesus, the REASON for the season.... therefore- I LOVE THIS SEASON!
