The 61st Meeting of the Board of Directors & 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BFTI for the FY 2024-2025 were Held on 21st December 2025 at the BFTI Conference Room. Mr. Sk. Bashir Uddin, Honorable Adviser, Ministry of Commerce, and Chairman, Board of Directors (BoD), BFTI presided over the meetings. Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Vice Chairman, BoD, BFTI, President, ICCB, Vice Chairman, BoD, BFTI and Administrator, FBCCI, Vice-Chairman, BoD, BFTI were present at the meeting.

The 59th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) was held on Sunday, 08 September 2024 at 12.00 p.m. at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Commerce (MoC), Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Honorable Adviser, Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chairman, Board of Directors, BFTI. The other Vice-Chair of the Board and all other distinguished Members of the Board of Directors were present in the meeting.

The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Md. Enamul Haque, Member (Joint Secretary), Trade Remedies Division, BTTC. The MoU was signed by Mr. Ahsanul Islam, Joint Director, BFTI, and Mr. Md. Enamul Haque, Member (Joint Secretary), Trade Remedies Division, BTTC, representing their respective institutions.

Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) has organised a 3-day long Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) training programme on Supply Chain Management (BNQF LEVEL-4) at the BFTI Academic Block, TCB Bhaban, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka. The objective of the course is to disseminate knowledge of Supply Chain Management to the individuals engaged in international trade. The training was held between 13 May 2025 to 15 May 2025. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Abdur Razzak (Additional Secretary), Chief Executive Officer (Additional Charge), Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI).
