my long lost pal...

What happened to my youth?
I have a confession: Sometimes I go to bed at 9:00.
I'm so tired! I guess its the kids that suck the life out of me.
I've gone dancing twice in the last year. I used to go twice a month.
I watch way too many TV shows...i even look forward to them--i used to almost never watch TV cuz I was doing something every evening.
The one thing that does keep me young, though, is leading WyldLife.
Tonight I jogged/sprinted a couple miles with some 13 year old boys, while trying to hide from the people in cars who were searching for us. Fun stuff.
I may have lost 3 years of my twenties by having kids so soon, but I am the only 30 year old I know who plays "bond" (described above), goes ice blocking, rollerskating, bowls frozen turkeys, and plays "ninja" pretty much on a weekly basis.
so I guess I've still got a little youth left in me after all.

June 6 months old

June went in for her 6 month check up today and the nurse dressed her up in princess accessories. We got to take them home. I never wanted to dress my daughter in princess clothes for fear of making her high maintanence and prissy, but this was just too dang cute to resist. Oh and she weighs 15 pounds, 6 ounces and is 25 inches long.

I guess my fears came true...she did become high maintanence...

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch on Sunday! In Southern California that means an empty parking lot w/pre-picked pumpkins, carnival games, and a pony circle! Kelly rode a pony for the first time...and June got her first taste of hay (check out picture #2).

Kelly's Bday Party

Kelly is turning 2 on Wednesday which is a WyldLife day and we'll be busy at work that day so we had a birthday party for him today. He opened a few gifts from mom & dad and ate some dessert...and then of course played w/his new toys.

Image Kelly got an Iron Man Mighty Mug

ImageAnd a new Hot Wheels car (like he needs any more!). He wanted to play with the hotwheels car first--he got 2 Mighty Mugs and a Thomas & Friends DVD set but he liked the 99 cent car the most.

We took the candles off so he could eat and he started freaking out...gave me flashbacks to his 1-year-old birthday where he cried when it was cake time.

Jason put the candles back in the ice cream and he was happy again...oh kids...
