fun catch up from the last year

 Saige  turned 12, she got her ears pierced and now she gets to go to Young Women's.  She has been anxiously awaiting this day.

 We rode our bikes around the greenbelt @ Jensens Grove.  13 miles from our house and everybody rode their own bike except Royal.  Even Prestyn made it all the way.  What a great Mothers Day activity.

 Oh my gosh I am an aunt for the 4th time.  sooooo exciting.  Cimbrian and Tyler had a baby boy they named Maddox.  We love him to pieces.

 My awesome brother came home from the Philly Penn. mission.  He mastered Spanish and self discipline.  What a great experience for us all.

 On our way to Logan Canyon for camping (without Jeff)  and look what happened.  Thank goodness for good brothers that are always there to help.  I told the kids that we could just laugh about it because we know that life is about the Journey not the destination.  look at this fun memories. lol

A day at Bear lake.  

 Base ball season took over our June but we love watching our girls play

 went on a bike ride around some of  Bear lake.  Royal gets board riding in the bike cart but is not quite strong enough to ride 10 miles.  this is him getting a little energy out

 our Sunday drive to warm river springs and mesa falls.

 Cave Falls.  If you haven't hiked up there, I highly recommend it. we went clear up to the cave and then some of us went in while others were to chicken.  (I say "us" but I was one that was to chicken.)  I wasn't to excited to crawl onto a rock tunnel on my knees and get my but stuck.  Then you have Winnie the Pooh story all over again,.

Summer fun

Summer has been a blur this year, but here are a few things that i have remembered to pull out the camera for. My great aunt Martha came to town. just kidding, my awsome aunt Elinor came, so we haven't stopped since she got here. Now we have to hurry and squeeze another week of fun in before she has to pack up and drive back to Maryland.

Camping trip to Yellowstone. We went with some of the extended family that we don't get the chande to camp with much. something about camping unites people. i love that about it. This jeff and I on Yellowstone lake in a canoe. Not a very secure feeling to be on such a big lake in such a small boat. But we made it. We were practicing our communication skills with those ores. What i learned is that we need more practice. ha ha

Here is a quilt I put together so we could stay warm camping this summer. Then everyone came together at the Tea (Soda) party and helped me tie it.

Happy birthday cha cha cha, Jeff 38, prestyn 6. Hope it was a great day. We love u both sooo much.

Here a couple of pic perfect moment for Royal and his dad. He wanted to pitch to Jeff so they took turn hitting and pitching. He wanted to use a heavy bat like everyone else, not his big blue plastic one. He told Jeff he wanted to play a lota lota lota lota lota lota lota lota lota lota lota baseball.

How great to have 3 sisters. Growing up I often wished I was an only child and now I wish I had more. I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Jeff and I got the chance to get away in June. We went to Utah and wachted the Salt lake Bees play baseball, found a fun hike that had too much snow on the trail to hike up, hung out by the pool and drove up Ogden Canyon and saw alot of animals along the way.

Saige, Tylar and Prestyn have mastered the knee board. Saige is content to be pulled and go in and out of the wake while Tylar is working on her 360. Then there's Prestyn that has been building courage for a whole year now and thinks she is the bravest girl ever to just get on and go half way around the lake. Royal's job is driving the boat. In a few years he will be a pro.

Cowboy Royal! Mom left town for the weekend and dad took Royal to Cal Ranch. Pretty dang cute if u ask me.
