next year it will be 20 years since I joined newgrounds with this account. It is also not my first account. Decline was the hot shit back then when I joined, and it's been my favorite English word for a long time as someone who learned the language from the internet and video games. Then for the last decade I've been just trying to do the social media game with my shit for the longest time, without not being myself or staying true to whatever that is. And it doesn't work. Do you have to be a sell out now more than ever? Do I have to give in to the algorithms of the shorts and start making tutorials and other shit to get noticed as someone who creates stuff. Everyone else I see trying to play the game comes across as fake and I'm just like shut up and sing and stop trying to feed the algorithm. How can I fight for a less pandering world.
