This month's focus: Clean-in-Place (CIP) Systems
What is CIP?
Clean-in-place (CIP) is an automated method of cleaning the interior surfaces of pipes, tanks, lines, process equipment and associated fittings without requiring the operator to disassemble the equipment.
What are the benefits?
Making food and pharmaceuticals safe is a primary goal for all processing plants and clean in place is an important tool for reaching that goal. CIP minimises mistakes by automating cleaning to reduce the chances of human error that can contribute to an unsafe product. It also reduces employee chemical exposure by containing cleaning solutions within the system.
Here you can see a recently manufactured CIP skid leaving our sunny Runcorn site.
Are you looking for a clean-in-place system that can be retrofitted in your space?
