Materials Received in Class
- Textbook & Workbook: Must be brought to madrasah every week
- Iqra' Book: Must be brought to madrasah every week for revision.
Schedule & Duration
- What is the schedule and duration of the programme?
The programme runs on weekends (either Saturday or Sunday).
Each session lasts for 2.5 hours, combining lessons and interactive activities.
Educators & Teaching Methods
- How qualified are the educators conducting the programme?
Our educators are recognised by the Asatizah Recognition Board and are well-qualified and experienced in Islamic education.
However, please note that our centre is not specially trained to accommodate children with special needs.
- What teaching methods are used in the programme?
Lessons in the programme are taught using PowerPoint (PPT) slides and visual aids to enhance learning and engagement among students.

Parents are encouraged to track their child's Quranic literacy progress via Google Docs and practice as needed to ensure continued progress.

Additionally, fees are applicable for the months of June and December, despite school holiday closures and no lessons during these periods.

- Why do we collect fees for June and December when there are no classes?
Fees for June and December are collected to:
- Support Year-Round Operations: Even though there are no classes during these months, fees help cover ongoing operational costs and staff salaries.
- Ensure Financial Stability: Consistent fee collection helps maintain financial stability and allows us to plan and prepare for the upcoming programme months.
- Fund Maintenance and Improvements: Fees contribute to the maintenance of facilities and the development of the programme, ensuring that we continue to provide high-quality education.
- Is there a discount for siblings or families with multiple children enrolled?
No, there is no sibling discount.
When and how should fees be paid?
- Monthly Fees: The monthly programme fee is payable between the 5th and 25th of each month. Payment is accepted via PayNow only.
- Invoicing: A detailed invoice for the monthly fees will be sent to your registered email on the 1st of each month.
- Late Payment: A $20 late fee will be applied to payments made after the 25th of the month. This is to ensure operational efficiency, manage cash flow effectively, and cover administrative costs associated with late payments.
Programme Schedule
The programme aligns with the MOE school calendar and operates on regular school days.
Scheduled holidays: The programme closes during official school holidays & public holidays.
Class Ratio
- What is the class ratio for this programme?
The class ratio is 1 teacher to 15 students. Additionally, there will be an extra teacher to assist the main teacher with their weekly 1-on-1 Quranic literacy sessions within the allocated time.
Uniform Requirements
- Will there be a uniform?
No Uniform: At the moment, there will be no formal uniforms for the weekend Madrasah.
- Colour Code:
- Top: Navy blue.
- Bottom: Light grey long pants.
- For Girls:
- Light grey Hijab
- Socks and handsocks are required
Transport Matters
- Is transportation available for students attending the programme?
Yes, transportation services are available for students attending the programme.

What are the withdrawal terms?
- Notice Period: You must submit the online withdrawal form before the 1st of the month in which you wish to withdraw.
- Outstanding Fees: Any outstanding fees must be cleared before the withdrawal is processed.
- Fees Paid for December: Fees paid for December of that year will be used to offset the last attending month.
- Refund Policy: There is no refund policy for fees paid.
- Non-Refundable Registration Fee: A $50 registration fee is charged at the time of enrollment. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including early withdrawal, cancellation, or changes in schedule.

Parents must provide up-to-date emergency contact information.
In the event of an emergency, parents will be contacted using the provided details.
Confidentiality
All personal information will be kept confidential and shared only with necessary staff.
Compliance with Policies
Parents agree to comply with all programme policies and support the educational goals of the centre.
The centre reserves the right to adjust these terms and conditions as necessary.

Behavioural Expectations
We expect all children to:

- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a friendly environment.
How do you handle misbehaviour or discipline?
Teachers will step in and advise accordingly. If the issue is serious and includes violence, we will investigate thoroughly and follow up with parents as needed. We will also try to prevent recurrence by putting certain protocols in place.
What if my child does not want to attend?
It’s normal for children to feel apprehensive about starting a new programme. We encourage parents to communicate with their child about the benefits of joining and reassure them. Please feel free to discuss any concerns with our staff.
Health and Safety Guidelines
Parents must ensure that children do not attend the programme if they are unwell. If a child becomes ill during the programme, parents will be notified immediately.
