What better way to show love for our planet than by coming together to keep our community clean?
I’m excited to invite you to a special Highway Cleanup, hosted in partnership with Assemblymember José Luis Solache, Jr., Caltrans, and the City of Paramount. Together, we’ll help beautify our local streets and connect with neighbors while caring for our environment.
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

We’ll be focusing on the 105 Exit Ramp on Garfield Avenue and Somerset Ranch Road (North and South). Caltrans will provide shuttles to transport volunteers to cleaning locations.
Please wear comfortable clothes, bring sunscreen, and be ready to roll up your sleeves!
Caltrans will provide all necessary cleanup supplies, and the City of Paramount will offer food and refreshments to keep us fueled throughout the morning.
A few quick notes:
- This event is open to adults 18 and older
