Bithacks is UCI's first ever Embedded Systems hackathon! With parts provided, we encourage you to find your passion and explore the intersection between hardware and software. BitHacks is a 100% in person event during the day (No overnights) from April 11th-13th. Food will be provided.


WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Hands-on Experience – Work directly with microcontrollers, sensors, and other hardware components provided at the event.

  • Hardware-Software Integration – Learn how to bridge the gap between low-level firmware and high-level applications.

  • Mentorship & Workshops – Get guidance from experienced mentors and participate in workshops on embedded programming, circuit design, and real-time systems.

  • Team Collaboration – Work with fellow hackers to design and develop innovative projects within a limited timeframe.

Requirements

Submissions must be linked to a Github repository. 

Submissions must involve some form of hardware in addition to software projects.

If off-the-shelf products were purchased, submission must have a bill of materials linked in Github repository and must be less than $75. Pre-Printed Parts have a dimension requirement as stated in the participant guide you have received.
