New Motivation

I have been in a little rut this past year.  After my surgery I thought I would have all this new energy back and be motivated, motivated, motivated.  Well, I did get some of my energy back, and some motivation, but I still feel like I lack.  With the new year upon me, I've tried to get motivated to do some things I have been lagging.  This is where I am thankful for having such great sisters.  I'm not sure where I would be in my life without them.  I probably wouldn't have done half the things in my life without them, including marrying Sam (they made me call him after our first date to invite him to a backyard party, Sam said if I didn't call, he probably wouldn't have asked me out again).   Anyway, I've tried to keep up on my blog, and when I do, I date it like I blogged that day, or week, when in reality it had probably been six months or so.

The reason why I blog is not for anyone to really read, I blog to keep it as my family history.  So far I've made three books from years past.  I haven't finished blogging 2013 yet and need to do that, and I haven't put 2012 into a book yet.

Kass wants Anny and I to do a goal a month with her, and Anny wants to do a picture a day again with her this year.  I think this is a good thing, and if I have someone to do this with I will hopefully keep it going.  So my goal for this month will be to get my blog updated and make 2012 and 2013 books for my family history.

I hope I can do this, and hope that my sisters will keep me going as I will them.  Thank you for the New motivation!

Happy New Year Eve!

Took a little trip to Bryce Canyon to get some photos.

It was such a beautiful day.

Had a fabulous evening skating.  Well, I sat and watched and took pictures, but it sure looked fun.

Took a last couple of photos (Kass and Mick) before my camera died for the night.

Blessing Titan Pollock

The cousins all had a great time swimming today.

I'm so glad they all get a long together.

Then we all gathered together for the blessing of David and Taylors baby, Titan.

Clint gave the blessing while these fine men joined in.  What a great bunch.

All of the siblings except Kenny were able to be there.

Christmas Day

Had a wonderful morning at Nick and Hayley's.  Maren couldn't put their little dog down.

Clint and Amy came over as well to open presents.

They just never want to cooperate with picture taking.

Highlight of my day!  Skyping with my Son, Elder Pollock.

No matter where we are in the country, I'm thankful for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  For volunteering to come to earth and suffer, bleed, and die so we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again.

Christmas Eve

Traditional visit with Santa at the Fire station in Tropic.

Megan put on a wonderful dinner at her house.  She hosted a lot of people.

Then we headed over to Grandpas for our traditional reading of Luke 2 and Twas the Night before Christmas.  The kids were fantastic so not to bother Grandpa too much.
